Stopped after visiting family in Concord. Now we have a new place to get coffee before our 2 hour drive home whenever we visit! We got the horchata latte, which was delicious! Being able to drive up to a window was especially nice.
This place has an awesome atmosphere with even better coffee!! I definitely recommend this spot for anyone driving through the area!
What an amazing experience ! The location is perfect, the customer service impeccable, the variety and the unbelievable taste of the shakes and smoothies is impossible to describe, you just have to go and try it. The owner Lucas will make you feel at home.Thank you so much for offering affordable prices, on an extensive variety of drinks that are ten times better than any other place we have tried before. Drive from wherever you are, and have the privilege to enjoy this little spot, that will make you and your family keep going back for sure.
Absolutely amazing coffee place!! First trip I got something frozen second trip hot. Both were SO good. Had my kids w me and they were crazy about it. Met both owners who are incredibly sweet and great to chat with. Coffee was so good we went back the next day. I wish they were closer altho that might be dangerous haha!! Worth the trip tho! Highly recommend. Loved the Waikiki hot and cold! Love that it's right off 85 too. Easy on and off! Definitely go!!
First, really good coffee! Excellent beans. I had straight espresso, and my wife had a plain late. We're very picky with our coffee. It's easy to get too, and parking shouldn't be a problem. The owner is really friendly with a great story. I highly recommend Java Island.

The Waikiki iced latte was fabulous, and a friend enjoyed the Horchata dirty chai. Had a great time chatting on the “front porch,” and the owner was kind enough to share the Java Island story with us. They have an inspiring mission and really cool business model. We’ll definitely be back! 🎉🥳🎂, M!

Cutest little coffee place I've ever seen! Even has a quaint drive thru. Coffee is great, and the staff is wonderful! Hidden gem, check this place out.
So much PERSONALITY and premium coffee drinks, teas, water etc.. We will miss the Church St. @ Brookwood NE, IN @ConcordNC, as they made it quite difficult for the business.
The Horchata Latte is sooo yummy 🤩 and Kelly is the sweetest!
This is the best cafe I’ve ever been to, we have always been Dunkin’ people but that could never compare to the experiences we’ve had here at Java Island. The owners are the most friendly people you could come across, and always make you feel welcome. The little patio and tropical theme are sure to make you feel as if your on the beach! Now the important stuff, The coffee is absolutely phenomenal I’ve had both coffee and tea from this amazing place and I CRAVE it every day. I have yet to try any pastries from them but I plan on many more visits. This place has our hearts and should have yours too. Give them a try at the new Sam’s club parking lot in Kannapolis!
Always great coffee. Was recommended to try the cinnamon roll latte and was not disappointed, it's now my go to order!! Super friendly and helpful!!!
We just moved up from Florida and had to stop at this tiki hut. Kelly was so warm and inviting. Dirty Chai was creamy and tasty. My husband had an Americano. We also enjoyed the banana nut muffin. This will not be our only visit.
