Coffee was so so so good. The guy at the counter that helped us figure out sizes etc. Was very nice and outgoing. Would return for sure! Ordered a cappuccino and a latte with the maple butter syrup. ♡♡♡ Thanks for the kind service and delicious coffee. So many places these days people don't even try to talk to you. Sad.

Nice vibe, their cappuccinos are the best around! I also highly recommend their egg and hash bowl.

The goat 🐐 cheese, jam and basil toast was great. Latte was perfection… made to the perfect temperature! Owners and baristas were very kind! A+

We love supporting local independently owned businesses. They had tulips from Curiosity Farms recently which was an added special treat to myself.

Restroom was out at the restaurant. What restaurant recommends you go across the street to use someone else's restroom because theirs doesn't work. I can't believe you can have a restaurant open without a working restroom. Plus $12 for two latte's. Inflation.. wow.

everything about this shop and the people behind it are exceptional! from the local, fresh ingredients to the house made syrups—you clearly see the desire to support other small business and maintain a high level of quality in both of the menu choices. so grateful to have this quality shop in concord!

Don’t get me wrong, I love this place but their order ahead is so unreliable…. That’s why I can’t give it a full 5 stars. If they can get that figured out, it would be perfect!

It feels like a trendy millennial atmosphere. It's comfortable and welcoming and was easy to spend an hour hanging out. The coffee is Verb Coffee, which tastes a lot more like tea than coffee. If you really love tea, this is great. If you are a coffee drinker, expecting a full bodied coffee flavor, you will be a little surprised. It basically tastes like tea (including the watered down feeling) with a splash of coffee in it. if you put cream and sugar in it, you can't even taste the coffee at all - just tastes like straight tea. We ordered a sandwich. It was good, but small. The service was admirable and they tried to make an effort to provide good service, but it was very slow. It took over 10 minutes to get a mocha made and over 20 minutes to get the sandwich. We were first in line..... Overall, I personally wouldn't go back as it's not my cup of tea so to speak. I am a coffee drinker and want real coffee, but the tea lovers and the trendies will really like it.

Cute location with friendly staff! Only complaint is the lack of sugar free options.

My favorite coffee place in downtown Concord. They have an eclectic and creative selection of lattes usually with a few seasonal options. For a light meal they offer toasts, which are more like open-faced sandwiches. The Orange (I believe it was called) had goat cheese, honey drizzle, and candied orange slices. They also carry Verb Coffee beans if you like to make your own coffee at home. On occasion they even feature the art of local artists. I wish they would do that more often! It's a cozy place to stop for a quick coffee and snack.

Great drinks but it takes forever to get an overpriced sandwich. Delicious ingredients but I have worked as a cook for a breakfast cafe before. One just as bougie as Groundwork’s. Never in a million years would my crew let the cook take 20 plus minutes to make toast. They really need to speed up the kitchen line with prep work or better trained staff. Especially with the cost of eating there.
