weak latte, not even hot
I have been going to Summit since we moved here last September. They are beyond great and the coffee/food/pastries are excellent. The staff is amazing and this morning the owner gave me this because I told her my brother in law’s Birthday was on may 4th and that his dog passed away the night before! He was thrilled when my wife and I showed it to him on FaceTime! Excellent all around from the service to the people!
I was just in town for a couple of weeks for a work trip and had the chance to chill here and get some work done remotely…super cute atmosphere, very friendly staff, and I highly recommend the strawberry cream cold brew. It sounded strange to me at first but I quickly understood after my first sip. Great place to get work done and have great coffee.
Great service
Coffee is really good and it’s a cute place. Recommend!
It's a small coffee shop with a good selection of coffee and even specialty choices. There are pastries that don't look dry or bad (I didn't try them sadly). There is not a lot of space inside nor out, so this is not a place for a large group, but its great for 3 people or less. The parking is horrible, so heads up on that.
I love their iced coffee more than anything here. And the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!
I just met my friend here, and the ambiance was incredible. I've never been to this location before, and I didn't know what tea I wanted. So I asked the barista for her recommendation, trusted her, and I was not disappointed with it at all! It was quiet, more than enough tables to sit inside or outside, and overall, just a very pleasant experience. I will be back!
Delicious decaf almond milk latte with lavender!
Great place and good service. Seating was tough to find inside but lot of chairs outside.
Cute little coffee place, pretty small space but some seating available. On the pricier side for drinks, and the syrup/brew in my pumpkin pie had an odd grainy texture towards the end that I didn't enjoy.
Wonderful coffee and beautiful atmosphere. The location is next to the light rail, making it convenient to get to the numerous venues in the city. Great service and prices!
Nice little coffee shop! We had a matcha and a cappuccino and both were good.
Not a lot of seating if you're looking to work, limited outlets as well. But great coffee and service.
The place is cute and great for working! It’s decked out in holiday decor right now which is nice. The baristas are so friendly. There is a parking lot with 2 hour free retail parking.
Always a great experience. Love the atmosphere to hang with friends or get work done on my laptop. Huge fan of their seasonal drinks!
Love this place! I recently had a hot chai latte, but have enjoyed so many different drinks. The team is helpful and I really like how cozy it is. My husband and I have off on Wednesdays and love to start here with coffee and a muffin : )
Beautiful place with high quality coffee and syrups with real spices and authentic flavors. I love that they support local artists and crafts-people with the products they display on the shelves. I've bought a local candle and later a pair of handmade earrings there too, plus their store merchandise is always cute!
This coffee shop is hands down the best in Charlotte. The staff, ever changing art work, and just overall feel of the place makes my heart happy! Grab a coffee, tea, or even wine and sit and relax!
I was excited to try Summit since I’ve heard great things, but was super disappointed in the quality of the latte. The staff was really friendly, but the latte was just straight up bad. I’m not sure what happened or if this is just how it always tastes, but I got a hot PSL and it was insanely watered down. I ordered it with whole milk, and it tastes like it was made with a mix of skim and water. Plus there didn’t seem to be much espresso in there. It tasted like half a shot for the 12oz of “milk”? This was the worst latte I’ve ever had in my life. I wasted $6 on this and it was still worth it to toss it out. When I was pouring it down the sink too it even looked super watery. Not sure what the hype is about, but save yourself $7 and try another coffee shop or make it at home. I can seriously make a better tasting latte at home with my Nespresso.
