I ordered a waffle and Iced Vanila Latte with oatmilk. If you like sweet vanilla latte, you need to ask them to add more syrup. But it has a very good flavor of coffee beans( in my opinion). And the waffle tasted a bit burnt, but overall, it was delicious. It had a downtown atmosphere, and at the same time, the small garden was so beautiful :) It looks like a good place to hang out with your friends or studying. The only downside from my experience is that I felt unwelcome here. Staff wasn't friendly. Made me hesitate to visit again. But I'm trying to think that anyone might have had a bad day.

HEX is the crown jewel of camp north end. They have amazing coffee and also serve food. This is a place you must check out if you are in the area. Plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating, nice minimalistic cafe. Try the draft vanilla latte on a hot day. This is the most recent location, they moved over from the roastery building.

Classic in-house flavored coffees ☕️ Pleasant ambience on the inside and outside as well 🌱 Staff was very polite in explaining the specialities 😊

Visit: 4/22 9:10-9:40ish For someone basic the coffee might be considered tastey buttttttt it was the worst chai latte I’ve had in a long long time. I waited a total of 30 minutes from walking in the door to receiving my latte for it to be served lukewarm. After taking 2 sips, I threw it away. I can replace the 10 bucks I spent, but the time I spent waiting for subpar coffee, I can’t get back. Stars for atmosphere; throw some lo-if music on and add more seating, place would be dope.

Had no idea yogurt and granola could be this good. Cool place, in an area surrounded by cool places.

Hex’s new location is stunning, the food is amazing and absolutely worth a trip. We got iced coffee, avocado tartine (which came on a piece of sourdough that was to die for) and the miso waffle (which knocked my socks off). Will 100% make this a frequent breakfast spot, it was so beautiful inside that if you just come for the pictures it’s enough.

they are closed but google maps shows it's open, isn't it hard to point out that you're closed and wasting people's time visiting this awful, dirty place???🤮

Went here while visiting friends. Very, very good coffee. I was very impressed. Since being back home I have already ordered from them. Highly recommend stopping by for a hand crafted drink, which they do well, and a bag of beans. Try the Form or Function.

It’s a cute coffee shop in Camp North End. The menu is very very limited (according to the girl taking orders with the “why are you here?” attitude), everything is made in house that’s why the menu is limited. I got the vanilla latte. It was amazing! The barista did a great job on flavor and presentation. I don’t know if I will return since the girl made me feel as if I didn’t belong. If y’all know of any other good coffee spots in Camp North End, let me know!

One of my favorite roasters. This place serves top notch beans from a variety of sources roasted to perfection. Glad to have found this gem in North Carolina.

Good coffee! I like that they roast their own coffee in house. They will be moving to a bigger place within the camp in 2-4 weeks according to the barista.

Love their coffee. And their house-made chai is the best in town!

The perfect little coffee roastery. The coffee is always fresh and delicious. The staff friendly and efficient. My only (little) complaint is the coffee is never hot. My vanilla latte is still delish but always warm not hot.

Ordered an Americano. I've been underwhelmed by the coffee from every single local coffee from every single local coffee shop, but this was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a light roast with a nice mild, fruity character, and the espresso was well extracted without being bitter or sour. It's nice to see a place that takes their coffee quality more seriously than having good ambience. Will be back!

Great coffee and selection of self roasted bean. Ask for it to be a little hotter and it's perfect.

Really friendly folks here. Got to watch the staff taste some new blends. They were so nice to stop and talk to us about what they were doing.

We’ve concluded that this is the best coffee in Charlotte. We’ve tried a lot of places but always come back here for a delicious drip and cappuccino with oat milk! They use Oatly too, which is one of my favorites. Also the girl that usually works there is super nice! Keep being awesome!

The espresso was too fruity and burnt, the chai was not too bad. Reading the menu on a mirror was difficult and delayed the line. I feel as the shop is way too tiny, it’s a big space but the coffee area is so confined and same with the dining area. It seems 80% of their area is for storage. I would have loved to drink and relax, but I felt like I was on top of the 4 other people in the shop.
