Great shop in Uptown in the Nascar building and 5/3 center! Drinks are perfectly crafted and prepared by a friendly team!
This place is great! I ordered the sea salted caramel latte and an everything bagel. Both items were delicious, and service was quick— despite coming during a busy hour. The girl working was so friendly, I can't sing enough praises. The ambiance is great, too. 10/10 would visit again.
I've used the Crane Coffee's 201 N Tryon location for catering for meetings many times and they are just awesome! Even when I am in a pinch, the staff there are always friendly, pleasant and ready to help fill my catering orders. Great products and great customer service!!
Muddled Mint Cold Brew…that’s why. That and so many more reasons. Their branded coffee canteens come with built in tea strainers. Sara made me an excellent Sea Salt Caramel Oat Milk Latte but then she and I got to talking and I did something I never do, ordered a second coffee just to try it. Come in ready for that type of experience! They work with Crown Town compost, who picks up their waste weekly. Sara tells me that coffee shops can compost virtually everything, which was great to learn. They are eco friendly and offer a host of alternative milks. Their beans are locally roasted and the pastries are baked in Charlotte as well. They have two locations in Charlotte and I’m sorry to only be able to visit one. Next visit it will be on my list.
Great local coffee shop right next to the Conference Center, had to stop one last time before leaving to get the Sea Salt Caramel Latte.

Always a pleasant visit to Crane! Love the coffee and I’ve never been disappointed by the selection of light breakfast food. The baristas are always chipper and I love the eye toward sustainability- every container/utensil is paper, bamboo, and/or compostable. Thanks Crane crew!

Great service, delicious coffee. Google maps brought us to the complete opposite side of the building for walking directions. The entrance is on the outside of the Nascar Hall of Fame on S. Caldwell.
Best coffee in Charlotte by a mile
I first found Crane Coffee at Charlotte OBGYN as a pop up in 2017 while I was pregnant with our daughter. We visited their location by the NASCAR Hall of Fame shortly after they moved in and even after moving to Concord, this is my FAVORITE coffee shop! The local drinks are the best! My favorite is the lavender honeycomb.

Exceptional pour over in Uptown, Charlotte. It was flavorful and bold, without leaving me jittery. The owner, Chris, was great to talk to and excitedly shared his brewing techniques. He is also very sustainable-minded. Highly recommend.
Great service, great coffee, great food. I love the fact the Crane thinks about the environment with their coffee cups and lids and that they use local chefs and bakers for their food choices.

Spent 6 days in Uptown Charlotte from New York. Found Crane by accident on Day 1. My wife and I went back every morning while we were in town..My best cup of coffee ☕ in my 65 yrs of living. Chris is a great host.
