5 stars just for being open till nine which is so rare in this city that SUPPOSEDLY never sleeps (too many cafes close at five nowadays) But also: fast & friendly service in a cute/clean spot, prices are good and the espresso is tasty 👍🏻

The baristas are so rude here they clearly hate their jobs
Would love to support this establishment but I cannot - the obnoxious saxophonist they have in front of their shop for 6+ hours a day is a nuisance to the neighborhood and extremely disrespectful. It's absolute torture and I can't support an establishment that eager to allow someone so loud perform in front of their shop for such extended periods of time.
Great simple coffee shop- would recommend the cappuccino . Some inside seats to work at as well

I would have loved to have left a positive review for this place as the coffee and service is exceptional. However, they have this guy outside almost every day for long hours at a time, loudly attempting to play the saxophone. This man has absolutely no idea what he is doing and is more often than not a nuisance to the neighborhood and customers alike. I cannot emphasize enough how bad this guy is. He is not playing songs, just random notes as loudly and as often as he can. He is a true detriment to the business and all of Graham Avenue. Hopefully they fire him or ask him to "perform" somewhere else so they don't continue to lose business. I could not possibly imagine going here to relax with a cup of coffee or to work while this guy is belting out the absolute worst sounds you've ever heard in your life for hours at a time directly in your face.

Friendly people, decent coffee. I would say though for some reason it’s on the lukewarm side. Possibly not steaming enough? Either way it wakes you up. Cheers.

I appreciate the selection of vegan baked goods carried at Variety Coffee Roaster. Their blueberry jam bar is the best!

Believe it or not, I live very close to this cafe but never try their coffee. Every morning I walk my dog and pass this place. My dog sometime even interacts with some another customer dogs. My friend who live in LA and came to NYC for vacation, picked this cafe and we meet here. She has espresso and I try cortado: espresso mixed with a roughly equal amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity. We have five minutes to hang out then she has to go for her hair appointment. The cafe has seat inside and outside. It is a trendy place in my heihborhood.
