They don’t charge extra for non-dairy milk in coffee, and they’re extremely friendly. ❤️

The cashier and chef gave really good customer service. The wait time was short and the fish sandwich was really delicious!!!

Horrible service, gaudy interior, said food would take 15-20 minutes and took over a half hour. Caused me to miss my opportunity for lunch.

Textbook restaurant is relatively new and is appropriately named given it across from Brooklyn hospital, down the block from Brooklyn tech and a couple blocks from LIU. It’s a cafe, diner, bar and restaurant all rolled into one. It has 3 taps, serves coffee/tea beer wine, sandwiches, both indoor and outdoor seating. You need to place your order at the outside window. I ordered the fried fish sandwich which was a fried cod(nice and flaky and not too much batter) with coleslaw, tartar sauce on some artisan bread. There wasn’t a big crowd when I went so sandwich was ready and wrapped in under 10 minutes. Absolutely delicious!!! I’ll be back to try everything else. Service was polite and prompt.

I’ve been to Textbook countless times, and I can’t stress enough how much I, as well as my dog, love it. The drinks and food are incredible, the staff is super friendly, and the location (right outside Ft Greene Park) is perfect. Favorites: Egg & Cheese Sandwich Textbook Burger Lemonade Frozen Tahini Cold Brew Pup Cup (for the doggo, of course)

Holy moly the fries are 🔥 🔥 🔥! Tried the chicken sandwich and the steak sandwich. Both great and pretty unique. But *wow* those fries. Good coffee too.

Super adresse découverte par le plus grand des hasards et qui propose une cuisine généreuse, abordable pour l'endroit et de qualité (baguette française pour les sandwichs). Le personnel est agréable et la déco originale. Je recommande vivement !

surprisingly amazing food. my favorite is the steak sandwich though everything is great. ask for hot sauce on the side too. the fries are also of particular note — seasoning is great. will continue to come back for more!

Gobble gobble gobble….gobble - Rachel Gobble. In all serious though, a place that has a great atmosphere, awesome employees/owners, and great cooks that dish out some great food every time.
