SO delicious! Had the spicy noodles, the food was served very quickly, piping hot, casual east atmosphere, extensive menu list. Will definitely come back!

Place isn’t bad but the owner/cashier is rude

Perhaps my favorite Thai place in downtown Brooklyn! Food is good, love the atmosphere. It's definitely not the cheapest, slightly more expensive than my other go-to, but it's 100% worth it.

I’ve been visiting National for years and am always impressed by the quality of their food. Truly one of the best Thai restaurants in Brooklyn! I frequently order the Pad See Ew or Pad Thai. Personally, I have never had a negative experience as mentioned in some reviews. I strongly recommend visiting National and forming your own opinion - I’m confident it will be worth it!

Ordered takeout with no expectations and was pretty blown away. Their pad see ew was smokier and richer than many other places I’ve tried in NYC. Spring rolls were classic and delicious. Will be ordering again this week for sure.

What a find.... really good quality food at a reasonable price...and great service... only issue is that it was cold out and door takes ages to close.....

I have been coming to this restaurant for years but today will be my LAST! my plate was given to the wrong guest. I watched my waitress RUN back to the table take the plate back walk it to the cook and let him put it in a pan to warm up and 10 secs later it was presented to me. When I confronted the waitress about what I saw she lied to me and told me it was my friends dish and that they Made a new one which then came out 1 minute later. An obvious lie. I am completely DISGUSTED. I expected so much more from this place, and to be lied to after I clearly after I saw my dish clearly being given to someone else. I’m in shocked I feel disrespected and they have completely lost me as a customer. The truth and doing the right thing (remaking my dish) would have been the appropriate action.

Some of the best Thai food I have had in a long time! Great atmosphere, wonderful service, even when it was super busy with a festival across the street! Highly recommend!!!

If you don’t know by now I’m a Thai food connoisseur and this place is top tier. I’ve lived in Fort Greene since 97 and seen many places come and go; including my Uncle’s restaurant, Lucien Blue. I’ve walked past National so many times since moving back and I never felt the need to walk in until my Mom said I should because she tried it the last time she visited and loved it. Well folks, mama knows best because they hit the mail right on the head; authentic flavor, exceptional hospitality (the Thai touch) with an interior design that was honest in its minimalism. Please pay them a visit! It’ll be well worth your time.

Food was served quickly and was hot. Did not like the dumplings... too doughy. All other dishes were great.
