Very biased to people of color. Watched the person at the counter interact with white people in line in a more pleasant manner, striving for customer service. This place is a block for my house so I was really looking forward to making it my neighborhood coffee shop.

Can I pour my own milk into my drip coffee? I came to a coffee shop, not a milk shop. I love the way your coffee taste, but I'm not coming back because last time you put too much milk and when I tried to go back to fix this, there was a long line, and it would have been too stressful for me and the workers to rectify this. Just let us pour our own milk!

Love our neighborhood coffee place. Coffee and pastries are on point. Calm vibe to hangout. Haven't tried the evening menu yet.

Lovely local coffee shop (during the day) and wine bar (at night)! Cozy inside with fun seating. Would recommend to stop by on a weekend morning for a cup of Joe with friends!

Went for coffee in the morning. Quick service, good coffee, outside heated seating.

Really nice vibes and beautiful art. Went there to get some work done during the day- only thing is that the seating isn't very comfortable for working, but it looked like a great place to hang out.

Excellent coffee, funky design and super delicious baked goods. Great spot. Also, the covered outdoor area is dog friendly and well warmed.

Ordered a chocolate cookie and oat milk latte. The person who was taking orders was constantly chatting with other customers and immediately forgot my orders even though he acknowledged both of my orders by saying "sure" "of course" the first time. The cookie: Last piece. Handed it to the white customer 2 people behind immediately after he ordered. The latte: left on the counter. Handed the espresso immediately to the white customer who took the chocolate cookie. He then turned to me and asked, " I'm sorry, are we waiting for something?" Later I learned the person who was taking orders is one of the owners. Not sure if this is racially motivated subconsciously, but my POC friends confirmed similar experiences happened multiple times in the near past. It's ironic given the fact of the shop location and its objective. The coffee is ok/good tho. I'll have my white friend order for me from now on :)

love the place great for a good cup of coffee roasted by partners. they aren’t my fav roaster in nyc, but Daughter does a great job brewing their coffee. The drip is always consistently dialed in exceptionally well. Always smooth and enjoyable black. The Espresso hasn’t been as consistent for me, but it still hits in a cortado/cappuccino. Definitely a place worth visiting. The space fills up fast so it’s best go early in the morning at open, or do a mid afternoon visit during the “coffee shop lull.” around 2pm. it has Great music every time, and a great community of people there.

Cute place, nice playlist but the music level is too high... Feels like in a disco, impossible to focus there.

The cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve ever had. The milk drinks like lattes and flat whites quality can depend on the barista that day - but overall a Brooklyn gem!!

We have only been here twice for breakfast, but the atmosphere is excellent and especially all the gluten-free options

I say this with entirety but between the atmosphere, fast service, and incredible espresso this is one of the best coffee places in Brooklyn
