Great coffee shop! The atmosphere and quality is great, genuine service. Quite honestly, the best coffee I’ve ever had. Shoutout to Sophie for making it an amazing experience! Will deffs come back ☕️✨
Ordered a tea, and the bag broke while I was on the train. To my dismay, there were several tiny insects amongst the leaves. Not the best thing to see as your halfway through a cup. Completely disgusted.
Didn’t love the coffee or the atmosphere
My favorite local coffee shop. Solid coffee, modest setting, relaxed and quick with your order. When I'm taking the G Train and in a hurry this where I grab my morning cup. The music is always on point too. And fun trivia for a a discount on your coffee! Good vibes all around.
Small space fresh coffee
Decent little coffee shop with suuuuper friendly baristas! The drip they serve isn’t particularly good but the espresso drinks are nice. Espresso seems to be dialed in nicely and milk drinks are steamed a little bit on the cooler side, which is the proper way to do it.

Tip shaming barista demanded a tip as she handed me my cup of coffee before I even went to pay or had time to consider it. Left two stars saying I was just tip shamed and didn't like it. Then she went to Yelp to tip shame me again, and to disrespect me as a person. I was a first time paying customer. I said very little to her. I did tip as I probably would have but found the demand to be off-putting. This response came from someone at this business towards a customer and it is rather unbelievable. How do they keep a staff like this on hand? We also risk ourselves to give your shop business in the middle of a pandemic. Why risk ourselves for this garbage treatment. She honestly deserved no tip. This interaction really just caught me off guard and was rather terrible. I can't believe how unprofessional this person was and will not be back. Staff are systematically harassing me via Yelp Messenger and photos for my complain.
My friend was harassed and verbally attacked on a review site by staff/ friends of staff after writing a not so glowing review. This happened days after she bought a coffee here and went on for at least two days online. Multiple people messaged her and harassed her from this business. Who is to say it will not happen to you. Never heard of such a thing but it happened.
CUP was an important part of my daily routine when I lived in Greenpoint. I really enjoyed the coffee, the service, music, collection of books and their homely environment. I make it a point to show up every time I visit NY

Cool ans organic
A warm and welcoming coffee shop with great cappuccino with almonds milk. My barista, Loren (short for Lorenzo) was a tall handsome man with expert skills on the espresso Machine. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in Greenpoint. 10 stars if possible.
