We don't need social justice PSAs everywhere we turn in this place, we're all just trying to get some caffeine & move on with our day. Crazy to think the local Starbucks has less pandering going on than this place. Thanks for being open about your far-left views though, won't be spending money here ever again & will go somewhere where my coffee isn't politicized. Seems like I'm not the only review to have issues with this either.
Go in the morning for excellent coffee and breakfast treats or go in the evening for cocktails and music, or both!!

Great location. Friendly staff. Hot chocolate with maple syrup was AMAZING! Nice they have coffee drinks and also transitions to a bar in the afternoon/evening. Nice to sit in the window and chat with a friend/people watch.

Love love love. Met with friends & I never want to leave. I got a honey, lavender latte & it was pure perfection. Also really love that there is coffee options while getting drinks with friends as someone who doesn’t drink alcohol.
Coffee and pastry were good, but the atmosphere was uncomfortable because of the overt "social justice" messaging and vibe. Overheard an employee talking poorly about different customers to another employee- very unprofessional. Funny that the people obsessed with "inclusivity" are so good at making people feel unwelcome.
This is a really nice cafe and bar. It's very casual and relaxing, with a comforting atmosphere. The espresso and hot apple cider were very tasty.
Would recommend this place. It's a converted bar, which gives it rustic, grime vibes that are really cool

A small local coffee shop that has all you want in a small local coffee shop. Food and coffee was good as was the service. Great place to people watch if you sit at the window. I'll be back next time in Portsmouth.
I have come here twice - and had the same terrible experience. Ordered just a simple drip and it was cold. The first visit they heated the drip up with the steam wand as if that was a common issue (Very unsanitary and still stale). Swore it off for two years, came back to give it another chance: Cold drip again. They offered to heat it up with the steam wand or wait for a new batch to brew. I asked for an americano instead and it sounded reluctant. Just disappointed in the level of detail. Definitely would never recommend to anyone.
