Summary: good coffee and nice building with nice workers, with an experience soured by charging $0.50 for “salsa”, and heating croissant in a microwave. There’s some good things about this place: it’s a nice spacious interior, recently remodeled. There’s free water with real cups (not disposable). Plenty of seating. Good organic drip coffee! But when you charge someone $0.50 for “salsa” for their burrito — without even warning them that it costs extra — and then find out that the “salsa” is actually just two packets of HeinzKraft picante sauce loaded with preservatives, it REALLY sours the whole experience. Also, if you’re going to charge almost five bucks for a croissant, could you please heat it up in a small toaster oven, not a microwave!?!?? These details really cheapened the experience at Liquid Planet, which is odd because the prices are not cheap. I could totally see charging a small amount for salsa if it was actually real salsa!! This city even has locally made brands of salsa that they could have stocked. What a shock. Owing to these issues, I would describe my feelings about this establishment with the following words: gross, corporate, not local, microwaved, disappointed.
The best mocha (had with Aztec spice cocoa) I've ever had. I can't remember what it was called, but the turkey sandwich was also delicious, especially after they put it in the sandwich press. It's a little expensive, but the quality is there, so worth going once in a while.
Liquid Planet is a local favorite and a great coffee spot!
This is one of my favorites. Classic downtown coffee shop. An absolute must for any coffee drinker. Love this place.
Liquid Planet has a big selection of sugar free flavors and delicious drinks!
Delicious coffee!!! Was the go to when I had a commercial project in the area
Friendly & fast service. Got a few specialty coffees. Much more than coffee here as shown in pictures. Will defiantly return.
The perfect place to be when you want to work after hours. Even a small feels large in their dine-in mugs, and they always fill them to the top! Loved hanging out at night, and will recommend this place to all my friends.
Always willing to take a last minute order 5 mins to close!
Perfect as usual!!! The guys are amazing, the coffee, the food 💞🥺
Decent coffee, nothing too exciting. Felt like a little bit of an inconvenience for stopping in and asking what to order or if they had anything they’d recommend. But coffee tasted fine which is what I came for. Just didn’t seem too inviting 🤷🏼♀️
Friendly people, good coffee, cool downtown atmosphere. Plenty of tasty options plus they are open later than a lot of the other coffee places in the area.
Beautiful cafe. I spent the day reading a book at the cafe whilst waiting for my flight.
Great coffee. Inside is nice and roomy. My go to coffee shop while in Missoula!
Friendly staff and great place to grab coffee while you work!
Great coffee & wonderful service. The staff were knowledgeable and thoughtful regarding my dairy allergy which is always so appreciated!
Best Thai coffee. Great prices and cute atmosphere
I do have a complaint. The ventilation is horrid. The Panini Press is used all the time yet there is no ventilation. It stinks of burnt butter, cheese and oil. The fumes cause significant breathing problems for myself and my skin and cloths feel oily and smell like burnt oil and butter, after even brief visits. Unfortunately, the fumes are enough to have made me decide to not go to this location ever again. I will not be coming back until something changes. I may add that the service and staff are excellent.
The best coffee and coolest baristas 😉. Cozy place.
The best coffee in the State! The Chai was spicy and smooth. Not watered down like the national chains serve it.
