This is a drive through coffee shop with wonderful breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Ingredients are fresh, food is made to order and served with a smile and thank you. Only seating is a picnic table, but I got my hot and tasty burrito to go on this cool, breezy day. The cafe is on the edge of the big Harley Davidson shop, west of Missoula. A great place to grab a sandwich to go when heading to the rivers or hills...

This place is a great find! The owners are super friendly and flexible with dietary restrictions (even have a separate grill for gluten free). I had a veggie breakfast burrito and it was great!
I really enjoyed my breakfast burrito and coffee. The guy running the kiosk was super kind and very friendly. He was very gracious with my food allergies and constructed the burrito made to order for me. The coffee was also delicious. Both items, along with the friendly chat, made for an excellent start to my morning and fueled impending drive.
This is my go-to stop on the way to the mountains. The breakfast burritos are top notch and pound for pound better than any Market’s around. On this visit I was especially impressed with the lavender matcha latte. I was well fueled for a full day at Snowbowl and my only recommendation is to be open on Sundays so I can get more of this magic!
House made Biscuits and gravy with egg and cheese burrito. Genius. Wrapped to eat while driving. Epic. Really cool guy at the window. Outstanding. My only regret is I don't live here to enjoy this place more often.
The service was amazing, Tony was awesome! Super nice and friendly as well as really quick with our drinks. We'll be sure to come back every time we visit. (Edit) Also it was the best Chai I've ever had.

Fantastic to go breakfast, sandwiches, and coffee with really great service. Has a strong locals following, but I would also highly recommend HardTail to anyone coming in from the airport or driving by. If you’re on Google looking for food, this is your place.

An amazing little coffee shop!! The hot chocolate was very tasty, and the burritos were very delicious!! I really recommend the bacon and egg one because it has a delicious nacho sauce in the middle of it! The owner is really friendly and helpful. A really down to Earth guy!
Cute little shop in a great location. My sandwich was made to order, fresh, with good ingredients. They even dressed it with condiments, so no fiddling with packets in your car. It also came with chips and a pickle, in a to-go container. Awesome!
We were looking for a nice breakfast on our way to Missoula and decided to try sausage burritos in HardTail Cafe. It was so delicious! Quality ingredients, service is friendly and super fast. Also, try their hot Breve coffee with Caramel syrup. ❤️ Highly recommend! Support local! ❤️
Breakfast burrito was truly amazing, a must try. I normally don't get breakfast burritos because in general I'm not too into mushed up rice beans meats egg etc stuffed into a shell, but this one is a must try definitely. Hands down best breakfast burrito I've ever eaten. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and I did not and boy did I regret it. After tasting it he was raving about how good it was so I took a bite.. And another.. What's unique about this one is the chorizo and chorizo sauce that's a wonderful flavor and a kicker to your appetite. Thinking of going back to get one all for myself tbh
