I love this place. Their coffee is excellent, and everyone is so nice
My new favorite coffee shop..
Just got a coffee with sugar-free caramel flavoring. It tasted like they used WAY too much flavoring, almost chemucal.
Nice place to stop for a coffee. Not so crowded as the main brands
Let's start off with the fact that we love Scooters. We've visited a number of them over the last couple of years and it's always great. This location - not so much. Over the last few weeks we've had multiple orders come out wrong, cups that were maybe 60% full, and just poor service. I usually come right away in the morning and yes, it's early, but I didn't just get these people out of bed. They act like they're absolutely annoyed I'm in the drive-thru. I don't like to talk in the morning either, but I also don't want to feel like I'm inconveniencing them every time I come here. I'll just head up the street to Caribou. Easy solution.
I’m not sure if this place is still in business or if we just hit it on days they close early, open late. We have tried to go 4 times since Christmas and they are always closed. Last tried on 1/20/23 in the morning about 9:45 after dropping the kids at school. Me and a guest parked and when we tried to get in, a sign said lobby is temporarily closed. Use drive through. We planned to use the drive through, not our first choice to take coffee to go, but we can adapt. Then a sign on the drive through said they were closed. We didn’t have them open the last time when we went at 4:30pm after work one day early January. Perhaps they are going out of business?
Best coffee ever. Love the ice sugar cookie and the pot o gold. However they keep shortening there hours, and for someone who works overnight it’s really sucks. Also went there today and noticed it was close about 40 minutes before it said they were supposed to be closed. There was no note or anything on the window saying why they had closed early. Big bummer.
I’ve been going here for coffee since they’ve opened. Some things have changed in the past few months (for the worse). It’s pretty rare that I get my correct order. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if at least what I got tasted good, but it tastes burnt and watery. The service is also lacking as of lately. I ordered in the other day and the employees were low key rude, the tables were dirty, and there was weirdly no music. It was very awkward
I went with my brothers for coffee and to work remotely. The coffee was decent, and the dining area was bright and nicely designed. However, I got the impression they don't want people dining or working remotely there. They had chairs upside down on tables like they were closed, and the Christmas tree was not plugged in, which gave an unwelcoming vibe. We plugged in the tree and pressed on; however, all three of us had our coats on, and our feet were freezing. My brother spotted their thermostat, and it was set to 65 degrees. We noticed other customers had their coats on as well. We ultimately went to the Caribou next door, which was much warmer. The place has potential, but they need to be more hospitable.
Scooter’s is a terrible company that would rather have their employees freeze than allow them to wear jackets that would cover up their uniform logo. Do yourself a favor and purchase your coffee elsewhere.
Great coffee! Super cute baristas!
I had Americano coffee, a smoothie, a cheddar and egg biscuit; my companion had hot chocolate - twice! All were satisfactory. The service was however odd! There were two employees and no customers other than my friend and me. The food and drink could have easily been brought to our booth yet we were called to the counter to pick it up. Afterward, as I paused on the sidewalk to bid my friend goodbye, one employee came to the door to have me come back in to clean the empty cups and napkins from the table! I did so, it was no big deal to me, but I was confused. I asked if this was due to Covid. She said, " Yes." Huh?! Were they completely out of hand soap or sanitizer? Just weird.
The place nice and good but the coffee really not what i excepted ,i got shocked i felt that i am drank hot water .
Great coffee and good taste, we tried the caramel blended.
Great service and better mocha!
Went to this place a few times but there's this barista name Lucy or something she's very friendly and always recommending stuff that might be to my taste. I've met a few of the barista mostly this one who like to promote her girls band or sing thing which seems interesting but personally think should be left on down time . I usually almost always go in the afternoon and before they told me they couldn't make my blended drink with a non dairy product but the friendly barista Lucy said she can and would give it a try..... She even said if I didn't like it she would remake it🥳 She made me my drink and let me say it was amazing and she even told if other barista said they couldn't make it with the other milk to say yes you can and that "Lucy did it". In general I think she has experience but seems to enjoy the barista life. I give this place a 5 because most baristas are friendly and willing to help and the drinks 🤩😍.
Tried scooters for the 1st time today. I ordered an iced white mocha. It tasted like burnt coffee with water. It didn't taste anything like an iced white mocha. Very disappointed, may give it one more try in the future to see maybe if it was a bad day or something.
Great coffee ,pastries,sandwiches
The people were nice but the coffee was super wak. Wish I got a cup of water instead
One of my favorite places in Rochester! This is the first coffee shop I've ever been to that has the taste of the coffee so closely resembling the aroma. The staff is extremely efficient, polite, and some of my favorite people in town. Every morning the quick drive-through chat starts my day, helping to kick my day off right. Keep doing what you guys do, and you'll hopefully set the standard for how coffee shops should be!
