It was a great-tasting coffee and a good atmosphere to grab a bite or stop in for a coffee and catch up with a friend.
Forte Coffee is a cozy spot where you can either sit, eat breakfast, visit, or take your purchase with you. I'm always greeted with a smile as I come in and great service. Their coffee is the best in the area, in my opinion. Coffee is absolutely their Forte. There are food offerings as well, but I have never eaten there. Usually, I have a time restraint that keeps me from indulging in that aspect of the business. They are the only place who know how to make a good tasting, sugar free, low-fat, vanilla latte. If I ask for one anywhere else, they have no idea what I'm even talking about. I truly appreciate Forte Coffee.

The atmosphere is warm and the staff are friendly, but the espresso they seem to use in their lattes was pretty lacking in flavor to me. Not a bad place, at all, just want/expect something a little different.
I took my dog with me on Friday. Immediately I was greeted by a woman in a raised voice asking if she was a service dog. I said yes, she is an ESA. She said ESAs were not allowed there. I asked why. She directed me to the sign on the door and started giving me some state ordinance number. I pulled out my phone to make note of it, and she was very impatient with me trying to get it right. She rudely told me to take my dog outside I am even louder voice. I asked them if they had the ordinance in writing, but she would do nothing further until the dog was gone. She went in the back to make a copy while I was putting Molly in the car. When I came in, she handed me a sheet of paper. It didn’t have any info on ESAs, so I went to the counter to get her attention for a second page. She picked it up off the counter and shoved it at me angrily. She may have been having a bad day, but I would have walked out and not gone back if not for meeting someone there with too little time to change plans. Tread lightly and watch out for the short woman with curly black hair. BTW, their black coffee isn’t all that good for over $3.

Update: FORTE COFFEE KEEPS REMOVING THIS POST. (I guess they like hiding the truth) This place refused to hire my daughter because she didn’t have a COVID vaccine. She was asked halfway into the interview if she was vaccinated, she replied “no” the person then said, “if you show proof of vaccination come back”. Do the customers need a vaccine to come into this store to get service? It is Totally wrong as a business owner to discriminate someone’s belief or choice to not getting the vaccine.
Cute little quintessential coffee shop. As an out-of-towner, it was a little hard to find but totally worth it. The coffee was smooth. My latte was perfectly crafted. The staff was friendly, polite and efficient. I will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

First time visit, there was a very friendly welcome. They were patient to answer any questions and provide information that was helpful in making decisions for those of us not very familiar with the world of coffee. Highly recommended! We will return when visiting the are again.

I would love to give a different review for the weekend vs. weekdays, because there's a clear difference in quality depending on the day. I've had great drinks made during the week, which got me excited to come back during weekend. The drinks my wife and I ordered on the weekend were disappointing. Our cappuccino had essentially no foam and the milk in my latte seemed to be burnt. I would give them a 5 star review during the week, but this review reflects the weekend quality. If the weekend baristas are able to improve, Forte could become a really solid place. They put ice in cold brew here, which I find surprising. Keep that in mind if you don’t want cold brew that’s watered down.
One of the best coffee shops we’ve ever visited. We stopped by during a long driving day and were delighted by the family friendly environment, complete with some toys to keep our road weary toddler happy while we re-caffeinated.

Midway through a job interview the “person” who was interviewing asked my daughter if she was vaccinated. Now, this is not right. It’s a personal preference to get vaccinated and establishments are SCREAMING for help. My daughter is a shift lead at her current job and she is ready to leave that job due to poor management. I guess she dodged a bullet for this job as well. She’s a very hard worker and cares about others doing a good job while working as well. Sorry…you missed out on her making your place a great establishment. So political.

Most amazing iced chai latte with oat milk ever! And, super delicious gluten-free brownie (made in the store). Love the inclusive atmosphere and the warm staff. Definitely check this place out.
We visit coffee shops all around Michigan during our CanAm Spyder rides. We've gone back to Forte because they have great coffee, helpful baristas, awesome baked goods, clean bathrooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. Worth a visit if you like good coffee and a friendly place!
Our first time at Forte’ and it was a 5 star experience. The latte was excellent and the staff and owner were friendly and professional. I highly recommend!
