Megan was our server and she was above and beyond great. The food was tasty, the wait wasn't long. Will totally be back next time we're in the area. Thanks again, Megan, for your wonderful service. We left full and happy. 10/10.
Great atmosphere. Good to match.
Been coming here (other location) for years. First time at new location . So disappointed. Ordered eggs Benedict. They no longer poach the eggs. It’s basically a basted “ fried egg”. I am a transplant recipient and said egg needed to be well done. Came with whites a little gelatinous and yolk runny. Had to send back. Upon my recommendation ( because I had the entree twice before and it was so good) my husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros. It wasn’t even luke warm. The food under the egg was topped with ice cold salsa . Yuck ! The Belt ( BLT with an egg) use to boast a 1/2# of bacon. Now just says classic bacon. Guess it’s now just an ordinary Belt instead of an extraordinary one . I also felt the menu was uninspiring. Hope it gets back to the Phoenix Street I use to love…
Stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff welcoming and friendly. Our food came quickly and was delicious. The prices reasonable. So glad we took the time to have our breakfast here before we left.
Great breakfast and great help.
Great service. Really good food. California Omelette, Lox and Bagels.
Good spot to grab breakfast. The employees were super friendly and the service was excellent. The food was really good.
Good breakfast spot! If your in South Haven, Michigan
This place was awesome!!! Great food! Wonderful service! Would go again!
Great place & never ever ate there before but it used to be a church I heard and turned it into a restaurant..... Great food!!
The Huevos Ranchero is the VERY best! All of the food is wonderful, great bloody marys, awesome staff😊
From out of town and wanting to try some new restaurants: The food was tasty, I’ve had the chicken and waffles as well as the Phoenix street breakfast. The gravy and seasoning of the chicken was wonderful but the size of the chicken varies dramatically. Someone in our party was given a very small portion while mine was extremely large. The wait staff was however very friendly. The coffee is actually what makes it lose the star, it tasted as if it was leftover from the previous day and reheated. Luckily there was a local coffee shop just across the road that saved the day for our coffee needs. It would likely behoove this cafe to partner with the neighboring coffee shop!
I wanted to give a 3.5. The food quality was good and my sandwich was good too. The downside is that the eggs for both my sandwich and my wife's meal were not done correctly. I asked for scrambled and she wanted medium and both of ours came back the same, completely runny. 3.5 is the right rating
My son and I were traveling through the area and decided to try Phoenix Street for breakfast. I had the Pork Belly Hash plate and it was excellent! My son loved the food and overall experience as well! Very warm and friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend this restaurant!
My friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat breakfast in South Haven. We decided to give Phoenix Street Cafe a try and were glad we did! The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant is immaculately clean. The restroom, the dining area, everything in general was just very nicely cleaned. The only thing I can really pick on is portion sizes. I really wish they were maybe about 20% larger. However, the food quality was good and everything was tasty. I ordered the BLT and my friend had the biscuits and gravy (I highly suggest ordering the full order instead of the half order). I debated on giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5, but ultimately the friendly staff, cleanliness, and food quality prompted me to give them the benefit of the doubt!
The B(E)LT sandwich with avocado was delicious and the potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had!
Very busy place with great food and service. Small wait, but well worth the value. Our waitress was outstanding and the food delivered hot and Hella tasty. Look forward to next time.
Were camping at the state park and went to town for breakfast and enjoyed the Phoenix.I had the special steak Benedict and smashed potatoes it was great .my wife had the crab cake Benedict. It also was great! Service was great!we will go back again.
Had the cinnamon swirl pancakes which were the absolute best. Along with scrambled eggs and great bacon. Excellent service. We will be back
The food was worth waiting for. You should always expect a wait to be seated and then a wait for your food...which is a little pricey....but it is always fresh, hot and good! Worth the wait and the price!
