WOW. Just wow! Snake Oil brings modern specialty coffee to the doorstep of beautiful South Haven. The atmosphere is so cool, the coffee is stunning, the service so friendly. I've been to many of Michigan's best coffee shops and Snake Oil, to my great surprise managed to take a #1 spot in my book with a downright delicious cortado. I still can't believe I walked into a place like this in a town like South Haven, it was like stumbling into an oasis.

I really liked this place. I'm not even a coffee guy and I wanted to go back every day we were in South Haven for the weekend. It's got a really unique vibe, and the staff was extremely friendly and chatted with us while they made our coffee. I got the mocha latte with oat milk, and I liked it so much I got it every time I went. I'm really looking forward to my next trip to South Haven so I can go again.
Phenomenal coffee with some unique flavors I’ve never seen before. The owners were extremely personable and able to make suggestions on what you may or may not like. Wonderful experience-I absolutely plan to be back even living an hour away!

We stopped in for a quick caffeine-fix and discovered the best little coffee shop ...ever! We enjoy the unique flavors that private roasters produce. However, Snake Oil has reached the End Game with their roasts. It is smooth, balanced, flavorful, and not bitter. The last sip is savored as much as the first. You'll be glad you stopped in.

Coffee was OK. I was excited to find this place, especially coming from Chicago to visit south haven area but it was a totally different vibe when I entered. Not much hospitality or warmth. Was enthusiastic when I walked in, not as much when I left. Hope they were just having an off day. Didn’t seem like they wanted customers

A new little gem in South Haven. They even have Sunday morning group runs with free coffee after! Appreciated the great service and authentic conversation with the owners.
