We have been here previously with our dog. We arrived today to find out dogs are no longer allowed so we had to eat in our car.

Been coming here off and on for many years. Excellent on multiple levels but really it's the overall experience that makes this a destination place. We're based in the UK but always make a point of coming whenever in the Amherst Northampton area. Look forward to returning this summer 👍
Just a wonderful visit on a spring day. Pancakes and cappuccino on the patio next to the tulips....a wonderful way to spend a Sunday! Great blueberry pancakes with real local maple syrup. What a great vibe here!!
Great coffee and wonderfully prepared food. The crab cake Benedict was amazing! The place is a little crowded as it was raining and the outdoor gardens were closed, otherwise great experience!
Very cute ambiance, and the coffee is spectacular. Can't wait to return and try one of those beautiful, tasty-looking breakfasts!
Really great place to come do work! I had the fantastic beet root latte and look forward to coming back and trying some of the coffees and some items from their food menu.
Overpriced for what it is. The food was under seasoned and overcooked. I was surprised by how many people were in there when I picked up my order. Perhaps it’s just a lack of available options.
Distinct coffee menu. I like the irish malt cold brew. Also cafe latte has deep milk taste.

The seating can feel a little cramped but that's not something I think is a bad thing but may deter some. EVERYTHING else about the place is wonderful. Coffee is amazing, breakfast is great. Highly recommend.
Very impressed by the atmosphere, and interior cafe design!! The coffee and food were absolutely amazing. Tends to get a little busy towards lunch but ABSOLUTELY worth the wait, just expect it to be busier! Great place to go and catch up with friends for sure! I will say some staff were a little grumpy but it didn’t effect the over all experience 🤍

I had a nice experience here because the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was quaint, and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the French toast with bacon with the honey nut latte. I would definitely come back and order something else.
Lively, delicious local spot that roasts the best beans in town.
This place always seems busy. Even with their ample seating it can be difficult to find a spot at times. Hoeever, the staff is always cheerful, even at their busiest. The food is top quality and includes vegan options. There is a wonderful assortment of espresso drinks. In the nicer weather a lunch in the garden area can be so relaxing.
Always amazing experience at Esselon Cafe and always leave home with 5 pounds of coffee!!
Larry Peterson and I stopped for Breakfast after finishing a job in Hadley yesterday and had a delicious breakfast, Coffee and there peppermint mocha latte. Mark Krause the owner runs a fine establishment. Highly recommend
The breakfast menu selections are great and many come with a small side salad with their house made light dressing. So good!!
The outdoor seating behind the trees is private and separates the spaCe from the road very well. When ordering, don't forget to buy a bag of vanilla powder- makes great steamers at home and also a nice creamer for coffee. The drinks are well made and are delicious. Worth a revisit.
