Food service violations. Hair not protected, gum chewing. Etc.

My girlfriend and I ate here while trying to find a vegan/vegan friendly restaurant in May of 2023. It was not a vegan restaurant but everything can be made vegan. It seemed like chicken was the only meat they carried. It had a nice kind of rustic atmosphere. They offered a lot of health conscious food and drink options. I thought it was a little expensive for the portion size but we were served very fast and the food was very tasty. It is a very progressive eco conscious restaurant offering compostable food packaging and even upon leaving noticed even a compost waste bin to throw away your leftover food scraps along with the compostable food containers.

Took a star off because the coffee isn’t organic. Otherwise this place is delightful and accommodating. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. And there are wineberries growing on the edge of the parking lot!

Trying to call to get nutritional information no one would pick up don't see anyway to email for inquires. When at drive thru the only guy helping customers was not helpful and was ajectated about being their and seemed clueless about products.

Nothing negative. Place just awesome, plain and simple. Ironic, as it used to be McD's

Free Range Cafe is a great stop in Hagerstown for a quick, refreshing meal. I always feel better after lunch here. You can order ahead and pick up (perfect for a quick lunch break), order inside or use the drive through. The food is great, and if it's a nice day they have a patio out front to eat (or you can take to go and eat at Mill Park across the street). I love their wraps especially!

Not a vegan, but boy - their vegan breakfast wrap was pretty amazing. Paired with a juice from their juice presser made a great start to my morning. I was just there yesterday too for their Korean BBQ wrap for lunch! So good!

Love hate relationship w. FR. Love the concept & usually what I select. $$$. Recently purchased a Ranchero Bowl, very watery at the bottom of the bowl, which wasn’t too horrible — due to the fact that the chicken was dry; seasoned fairly bland. (fairly tasty, just needed something more). Another day: (recent, within same week): Purchased a Classic Chix bagel (would be helpful if it was cut in 1/2 as a rule because it was messy and how is one to eat a soggy bagel as a whole unit ?). — Good portion, but the bagel came wrapped tight (to go) & had I not grabbed a fork and opened when I had- it’d have been inedible due to a flat soggy bagel being served. Couldn’t the bagels be toasted and not what appears to be grilled and smooshed ?? Was it good though? Yes. The sausage is pretty tasty. Lastly, blue gloves gives the impression of cleanliness (nice)— BUT THAT image is quickly thwarted when you touch doors, money, your sweaty forehead WHILE touching the fruit, and whatever else you’re handing the customer. The kitchen view is a bit chaotic and unorganized. (Fruit guy chops fruit-but up and leaves the carnage all over the counter— the trashcan is right there :/ ). He’s wandering around looking at stuff but never cleaned up. ?? Maybe that is me being picky— but impressions are everything— especially when this place is known for being unorganized. (Orders wrong, taking forever). I like the food and overall concept— but some areas could be better.

This was my first time visiting since they’ve been open! And I am so sorry it has taken me this long to go because the food and atmosphere was great! The menu selection has everything to offer various dietary needs and those of the little tikes as well. They’ve made a great use of the space making it feel homey and comfortable in the dining room, too. If you’re considering giving this place a try, I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Holy moly go eat here now! I had the Gordon's crabcake wrap and it was delicious. The specialty iced tea is also fabulous. The decor is amazing and everything is earth-minded in all the disposable products. Go support this lovely local business. Update: Jan 2023 - here for a breakfast of avocado toast and a honeycomb latte. Absolutely delicious!

Super cute place. Awesome staff. Delicious food. So glad I finally got here. You can eat for a great price, I went a little overboard since I wanted to try multiple things. Environmentally conscious business- using biodegradable and compostable products. Clean eating.
