Nice coffee shop with a big really wide range of coffee and desserts/ breakfast food.
Unfortunately haven’t made it to the actual restaurant yet, but my friend always brings me the vegan/gf oat bar and it is one of the best “desserts” I’ve tasted! Super healthy great for breakfast or a late night treat.
They had about 5 people working there but we didn't get our order taken for 10 minutes. Finally when we did, it was very overpriced for a minimal amount of coffee.
What an absolute GEM of a place! Coffee is OUTSTANDING and the pastries/baked goods are perfection. We each had a different sandwich and we struggled to decide which one was best. Cinnamon rolls - those are simply out of this world. Do your taste buds a favor and stop at this wonderful coffee shop. You will not be sorry.
The Almond Felicidad Latte is a must have when you stop by, along with the mango smoothie!! Definitely another coffee shop within the local area that’s worth trying out!
The staff always greets us with a smile. The food and beverages are delicious!
This was a blog post stop for peripateticcoffeeco.. It was on our list of must-tries due to the Costa Rica hype. We get there and my fiance orders a shot of espresso for us to share $2.45..charges us $3.25. Expensive..but whatever. Calls out a quad shot..She took our order wrong, but still looked like a normal shot. So who knows what we paid for? Espresso is served in a regular size coffee cup, and no espresso spoon. Things are going well so far.. The espresso itself tasted good. The crema was nice..the espresso was smooth. It was good! So we proceed to order lattes. The barista questioned my fiance's caffeine intake interrupting her while she was ordering. As I'm actively standing there with the old coffee cup in my hand... I got the maple cinnamon latte, my fiance got the pumpkin spice one...she went directly up and asked for something different. The milk literally overpowered everything..it wasn't even sweet like you'd expect it to be..it was just bland hot milk with an essence of pumpkin . So she ordered the Nutella latte..same thing. It was milk with the essence of Nutella. She didn't drink it. Mine was the same way..but mine at least was sweet milk as it was sweetened with maple syrup. It's disappointing because the espresso is pretty good. So we expected your lattes would be too. The espresso is on the lighter side..it kind of seems like the espresso disappears. I'd say probably try the food..not lattes unless you really enjoy milk. Lots of it. Everyone that was there while we were there only ordered food. They do have two bathrooms..BOTH are gender neutral! Plenty of merch to browse as well! The two leather chairs are the best seats in the house. For more in depth coffee shop reviews check out peripateticcoffeeco
Perfect combo of excellent coffee, fantastic pastries and friendly staff!
Great grilled cheese and awesome people.
Pura Vida is a special coffee shop. The quality of their food and coffee is high, and there is a comfortable, well lit dining area. The shop is a renovated old farm house. The staff are also always friendly.
Perfect locally owned coffee shop. Delightful atmosphere with a variety of both traditional and non-traditional breakfast cuisine. Excellent fresh coffee and tea beverage menu with fresh baked pastries of all kinds. Welcoming staff rounds out the small-town vibe, bringing the whole experience together.
Great coffee, great atmosphere! Very good home made breakfast!
First time. Had gallo pinto meal and wife had bacon/cheese/egg biscuit. Also had chai tea and coffee. Service was fine. Food was lukewarm and bland. Drinks were okay.
This place is seriously good. Coffee flavors are excellent and the food is all fresh. The staff is amazing. They catered to all my food allergies and were just so sweet. I highly recommend you go here. I live in Fl so I can only make it once maybe twice a year when we visit family but if you live near by, GO TO PURA VIDA!
Food you actually love to eat! We turned down our "free" hotel breakfast and happily found this place, worth the 6 mile drive.
We stop here on our way home to Charlotte after visiting family in NJ. This is a great halfway point. We are coffee connoisseurs and travel to Costa Rica several times a year. It is our happy place. This is a piece of our heaven. We had gallo pinto and it tasted just like in Costa Rica. The coffee was aromatic and perfectly brewed. This is definitely a hidden gem! Definitely a MUST stop for us on our travels.
Lovely little place that did wonders to ease us into our flight out of HGR. Easy access off of 81. Peaceful and welcoming. CINNAMON ROLL IS A MUST! 🙂
Great place to go for breakfasts and brunch for sure! Friendly atmosphere, good service and kind workers. $-$$
Excellent! I went in for a coffee, the friendly people behind the counter told me about their menu, and I left with an iced chai latte and turkey chipotle sandwich. Both were delicious, both I'd get agaIn. Go here instead of panera.
The staff is always happy and friendly. The coffee is amazing! I always buy their beans, so I can have it at home, too. I’ve never been disappointed, had a bad experience, or had coffee that wasn’t delicious enough to drive 25 minutes to get.
