I go here probably 3-5 days a week. Great environment, nice to spend time in and read or talk with friends.

Best cappuccinos with oatmilk. They froth and have beautiful designs when served. No one else can do that with oatmilk. Best barristas. They will happily customize drinks. Great atmosphere inside and out. The backyard garden is a hidden gem, a must-see in Annapolis.

I'm told this is the exclusive coffee shop and bookstore for Johnnies. It's a bit crowded and cramped inside but they have a patio in the back and a hidden bathroom next to the children's book selection which is always clean enough.

Entering this small store at the back of a bookstore, you get the feeling of stepping into a different, less hurried world. They used beans from local roasters. Both coffee and latte tasted great. The staff was low-key and friendly. Limited pastry selection (we didn't try).

These guys are doing a great job. The lattes and scones were great. It’s a quaint place in the back of a bookstore, but once you find it you’ll experience great coffee ☕️.

Overall: Decent place for a good cup of coffee that has a quirky atmosphere and while it's a bit cramped, I'd possibly stop by again if I'm already walking around the area. Pros: The latte I received was certainly well made, the foam was spot-on and the art was fun. The quirky decorations were also appreciated and the outside patio is probably wonderful in the summer. Cons: The inside tables are cramped. Outlets are a bit scarce. Wifi doesn't extend to the basement. I certainly wouldn't come here to work. Parking is a pain. Special notes: There's a shop dog who's pretty friendly and a cute kid's playhouse in the shape of a book outside.

I've visited twice in the past couple of years and each time, the coffee is so bitter that it's outright unpleasant. Instead of being bold and balanced, it's too much of a "good" thing. They also don't have plain sugar (only the raw sugar) or Sweet & Low in the pink packets. I guess they're trying to go all-natural. Last comment... and this is not only here but, oh so many coffee houses. When they allow people to camp out on their electronic devices long after they've finished their coffee, it really sucks for new customers coming in who want to have a seat for a short time (and actually talk to one another, not be buried in a laptop). This happens constantly and I'm not sure why they don't have signs requesting a time limit so that others may enjoy the space. It could be nicely worded as a request, even, and not as a policy. Thanks, but I'll stay home for better coffee along with a place to sit.

I had an amazing time getting coffee and looking around the bookstore. I was confused about what to get and the barista suggested a spiced mocha and I loved it. Friendly staff and amazing space. Definitely coming back.

This little coffee oasis is among books in a locally owned bookstore with a huge range of great books. It’s a great spot for college students from the local schools and families

Wonderful ambience and location on Maryland Avenue in the back of Old Fox Books, with access to the quaint porch and wooded backyard. The service itself is also great, so my only reason for four instead of five stars is that the lattes and cappuccinos (anything including milk) often are hit or miss, usually tasting quite strange and off. Perhaps they are using some strange hipster milk that I’m not familiar with. Fortunately, I tend to have luck by mainly avoiding the weird mystery milk, like with traditional European macchiatos, Americanos, and regular coffee. I hate how snobby this makes me sound, but it’s the truth!
