Super big place with plenty of places to sit and study. You order at the counter, so there isn't a rush to get moving. Typical breakfast and coffee options. The burritos were delicious!
Our family loves Bluestem! It’s the best brunch spot in town and our toddlers love the smoothies. Great food and great service. I’ve been a customer since coming to K-State in 2010. I can say confidently that it is one of the few places in town that has been around that long and has maintained the same quality. Thanks Bluestem owners and staff :)
The morning baked goods and coffee is good. Has heated patio
I love Bluestem. Definitely my favorite coffee shop in Manhattan. Their food, service, and drinks are consistantly good and I love spending afternoons on their patio with friends. Highly recommend if you are in the Manhattan area. Especially love their Bee-stro coffee (honey and lavender) and their Red Pepper Hummus plate!!
there are so many wonderful coffee shops in Manhattan, but I find myself returning to Bluestem time and again. Delicious Sunday breakfast, amazing coffee, and a great ambiance. My dogs love hanging on the deck while I order! I also recommend purchasing their drink tumbler. It comes with $1 coffee refills!
Very good food. Fast, easy, and tasty. Kind workers, and excellent coffee.
Good food sometimes cinnamon rolls taust as if they have frosting and glaze no cinnamon and don't go for there coffee either watery or they go overboard on the syrup
The food was good! But I brought my dog with me because the Chef asked us to leave since she's not a service dog (but she is mellow and I can control her). It became an issue when I had to order and pick up food. I ended up having to tie her up to a tree to go in and out of the restaurant.
This is my most favorite coffee shop in town. I come here during the week for scones. And Sunday brunch with a little jazz is the best. The staff and owners are amazing.
Pros •Good place to study and work business projects. •The make machiatos the correct way. •Staff all smile and make you feel welcome. •shaded outdoor seating area. •stickers were free unlike prices hall who charges $3 per sticker. Cons •Tables were all wobbly. •Baked cookies were undercooked and extremely doughy. •Muffins were as dry as an asphalt road in August.
We went here twice and were disappointed with our experiences. The first time the staff forgot half of our order and the second time we tried a breakfast burrito which was served cold and was so bad that I threw it away after 1 bite. Stick to the baked good
Always love the environment and the great selections of food and drinks. The staff is friendly and wait time is minimal.
Loved the experience and the place is great! It has the best oatmeal! And really good mochas! (My 9 year old son that insisted on leaving a review)
I have been going to coffee houses for years, and I have been to coffee houses all over the US (East Coast and West Coast). However, this is the best place I have ever been. Thank you for staying open all these years. To the local city officials of Manhattan, KS, shame on you. You didn't support this business but waffled and let "St@rHucks" build a block over and put in a drive thru. That is scandalous. You should be ashamed. Manhattan's townies sticking to those they do not like again. Anyways, help Bluestem stand up to the man by getting a fresh cup! It is a great place to go.
Always great food and really nice staff. Recommend Deep Dish Pizza on Fridays and Sunday brunch
The staff was great, the food was awful and the restrooms were dirty. The veggie ciabatta we ordered was pitiful. Several slices of cucumber and a few cherry tomatoes on a bad ciabatta and a bag of Lay's for 13.00 Very disappointed.
Got the wrong order but it was okay. I didn’t finish it like everything else and smoothies taste powdery, but I did finish the salad for the first time which was a a first.
A little pricey but that's pretty standard for a local Cafe these days. Good pizza and smoothie! Staff was very friendly + good atmosphere. Good place to sit/do homework.
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to Bluestem, and this visit has brought it back to the top of my list. Love the vibe, great music selection, and there are a number of sugar free syrup flavors to choose from.
I agree, I don't appreciate the tip cup being pushed at you when you order. I don't tip unless they serve me at a table. Go to Europe. Europeans don't tip, or they just leave some change.
