This place isn't your typical mall Boba stop. The people are friendly, drinks are AMAZING and the atmosphere is really nice. Will come back.
I am bubbling over with enthusiasm about this place!!! First time trying boba and LOVED it! The fruit smoothies are poppin for real! Staff was fantastic! 10/10 highly recommend.
Recently under new management, this store is much cleaner than it was before! The drinks are actually cold and taste much better. For a first-time try, go for the brown sugar drinks or the smoothies. For something adventurous, try the Love You So Matcha. Boba is an extra charge for some drinks, so make sure to ask, but they usually do. Picture is the Pineapple Strawberry Mango Smoothie (F13).

I was dropping off an instacart order for them and a very polite woman gave me a tea and it made me whole day better! Very Kind people!!
Asked the cashier for a recommendation on a fruit tea and milk tea. She proceeded to tell me that the first one on each list was the most popular. They weren’t 😵💫 go with what you want because lemon galaxy and red jade black ain’t it.
I started going here around 2019 and I was always greeted by the same guy each time and he made the drinks perfect and he was very nice! Very consistent too. BUT once they moved locations and I started seeing the first guy less and less to the point that I’m pretty sure he left, the drinks and service has gone downhill. I use to recommend this place to everyone. Now I am very disappointed to what it has come to. Last time I went in the drink I received was bitter and tasteless as if the tea was over seeped or old. The boba was textured and pruny. I was with a friend and he mentioned his drink was not too enjoyable either and that the boba was really weirdly textured. After leaving we both felt sick and had headaches. I do not recommend going to Hi Tea anymore after this experience. This was the last straw.
I wished they had ingredients listed with each drink. I ordered the Deep Blue Milk Tea and not sure what the ingredients were. It looked pretty, but it tasted like the leftover milk you slurp on from the bowl after you've finished your bowl of fruit loop cereal.
Please offer larger portions (32oz)
Got the Oreo boba. It was made fast and tasted great. I ended taking it home and spicing it up. Definitely recommend
I say this place is pretty decent. Not my first choice. It's best to go during the day and not as they are closing cause it doesn't taste that great when their stuff seems like it's room temp. The smoothie are good.
We had tao bubble tea! Delicious! The staff was attentive and friendly!
Tried this place a couple times and it was never good. Decided to give it one more try with a group of seven. Everyone threw their drinks away by the time we got to the corner. Another couple that walked out behind us did the same.
The teas were just okay. The customer service was non-existent. The place need a thorough cleaning - it is gross. We will not be returning.
Out of the first two drink ingredients we requested. Then was told they only had enough boba for 3 of the 4 drinks ordered. Probably not going back here.
We've been to this location starting in the pandemic 2 years ago and have intermittently gone back to give them chance after chance to improve. The customer service and personable nature of their staff is non existent. No matter what we order or when we go, no one greets us, updates us on the status of our pick up order or even makes eye contact. Most of the time they look up from their phone look at my smile and then sit back down on their phone if they've realized I've already paid and am waiting. No words no facial gesture NOTHING. The cute decor does NOT make up for all of your staff seeming actively upset I'm in the shop asking for a product. You're on Mass St and could really knock this out of the park. Please please motivate your staff to do a little friendly or polite behavior. I hate coming into the shop so much I will now drive the extra 12 minutes to go to Presotea, your competitor. I held off on writing this review for years hoping it was just pandemic or staffing issues. I'm now convinced you don't care so neither do I.
The menu is SO HARD to read. I have been here a couple times. Once at the old location and once just recently. Each time I haven't understood what I'm ordering and the staff can't seem to tell me. They were extremely rude, barely spoke to us, and looked annoyed that we were there. They have completely let their space go. It was so disgustingly dirty, syrup and powders everywhere. Dripping down cabinets, old product bottles left out, just overall nasty. I only went here again because my usual place was closed. I would NOT recommend going here. There are better places, with better boba, and nicer staff.
They lack consistency. I got the lemon passion fruit tea the first time and loved it. The second time it was not the same. Also, customer service is the worst. They hardly interact with customers and seem like they are forced to be there. I will stick to Bubble Box.
First time in - fun atmosphere ! Nice variety of options to choose from Super excited to have a Taro Milk Tea. RUDELY inform they were out Chose a brown sugar option instead. No eye contact, cold customer service. Drink was warm (no ice !) Hard to enjoy on a hot day. We ended up walking to our original destination to grab a cold bubble tea
