Was absolutely blown away at this place!! The atmosphere is fun and friendly; the decorations are retro and bring back good memories. And the food? Just wow!! Stuffed myself stupid with the grilled shrimp poboy & fries. So very very delicious!! And you must try the creole hard boiled egg & their desserts. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!! 💝💝💝⚜️
My favorite in Lawrence. Great people, even better food if you can get better! Love it!
Decided to stop in for a late lunch. It was pretty quiet around 2 pm on a weekday, but there was a healthy flow of people in and out. The atmosphere was really chill, and the food was honestly better than I expected. The Cajun fries were really nice, the perfect level of crispy with a hint of spice. Will be coming back soon!
Had dinner with my dad and stepmother tonight and it was fantastic, as always. I had the shrimp po' boy, my dad had the rueben, and stepmom had the jambalaya- so good!
I’m not sure why so highly rated, my gambo was puke warm and disgusting
Nashville chicken and waffles special was the best thing I’ve eaten in my 7 years living in Lawrence. I had to order it again. It was the daily special but I’m gonna call and beg they add it to the menu cause I’ll be there every day if they do.
Love their food always tastes fresh and offer lots of sauces for your meal
One of my favorite places to eat here in town. I love Cajun food but it's hard to find good places. The Gumbo and Jambalaya are delicious and the hush puppies were unexpectedly excellent. It's one of the places I recommend when people ask for a place to eat
Just as good as anywhere we have eaten during Mardi Gras.
We loved our visit! We enjoyed gator po'boy sammiches, creole devil'd eggs and poutine fries. Everything was delicious!
let’s just start off by saying they dont have any roast beef poboys. let’s end by saying the service is actually your own (get your own water and to go boxes) and … honestly - the fried okra aint that great.
The jambalaya and the fried okra were wonderful.. But the hush puppies are the best I've ever eaten and are just out of this world.
We had the gumbo and a grilled shrimp PoBoy and our food was excellent! The staff were very friendly and accommodating as the restaurant was very busy. They handled the crowd well. Their hush puppies were amazing too. We will definitely come back here!
I really wanted to love this place. Despite the name, they don't serve Louisiana po' boys. They serve underseasoned seafood on a buttered, grilled bun topped with seasoned mayo, tomato, onion, and butter lettuce. Also, we were there on Lundi Gras, so we expected a call out to carnival season -- perhaps king cake on the menu? Again, we were disappointed. It's an adequate sandwich shop, but it's far from a taste of home for Louisiana expats.
Great place, one of our go to places in town. Good food and nice staff. The new location on Mass Street is super nice, a lot bigger and more convenient.
Excellent in every way! Quick, friendly staff. Amazing food. Lovely, clean atmosphere.
Amazing food. Got the fried chicken Po' Boy, Cajun fries, and hush puppies. All excellent! The Po' boy sauce made everything better.
Excellent southern style food. Get the red beans and rice!
Went there today got the gator po boy, very bland lack of taste my wife got the grilled shrimp po boy most of the shrimp were undercooked and barely any shrimp in there at all my son got the chicken strips also very bland and tasted very burnt and then the drinks had no carbonation nothing but syrup then tried the lemonade very watered down also will be the very first and last time eating there customer service wasn’t all that either
It had been a while since we've dined in Lawrence and settled on Terrebonne after seeing the near 5 star rating and 1k reviews. We definitely didn't regret our choice. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and we were given some go-tos on the menu. Catfish and Gator Po Boys were delicious, flavor profiles were great. We ordered the poutine fries and one of each deviled egg. The gravy on the poutine fries had a perfect thickness to it which kept it attached to the fries. The creole and wasabi eggs both were unique and fresh. The decor was eclectic and the atmosphere was welcoming to all. Worth a trip to Lawrence for this food alone.
