Great local coffee shop and bookstore. Friendly service. Delicious coffee. Matcha latte and other specialty drinks. Scrumptious pastries. Gracious support of local artists and authors. Sponsor of inspiring community events and book readings.
Brilliant and very reliable
Cute little shop
Such a great atmosphere and wonderful coffee!
Good coffee. I ordered a cup of dark roast. It took a while. My friend told me that ordering dark roast implies pour over. You can order other coffee which is not a pour over. Books are shelved on tall shelves. The ambience is good. Very nice.
Cute little coffee and book shop. I loved the tea offerings. Will definitely return.
Great coffee shop with excellent pastries, books for kids to adults & a cozy kid's section with nooks to read books. So much to enjoy!
Adorable little neighborhood book store. Reminds me of the movie "You've got mail".
Great Intelligentsia coffee served here. The pastries are always on point, and the book areas are super cozy.
It was over whelming. The books are so close to people table. I felt uncomfortable walking up to look at them because I was invading their space. I’m sure no one cares but anxious none the less. Wasn’t fond of the smoothie. It was really bad. It’s more of like a milk with fruit not a smoothie. It has no ice. The place looked like it could be cool but it had be hind the scenes( boxes of books and stuff) out which ruined the vibe. Most seats don’t have outlets near by.
Great coffee and atmosphere. They have some interesting seasonal drinks that I really enjoy. It's a nice place to hang out for a while and just chill.
Great book selection, helpful staff and delicious coffee and treats. Plus. Free, adorable, gift wrapping
Great place to hang out with friends or spend time alone. Great coffee choices and pastries.
I stopped in for a coffee at 4 pm. I ordered the least complex beverage on the menu, a medium roast coffee. I waited for 20 minutes for my coffee. I was appalled by the lack of urgency with which the coffee was made. The shop was not the least bit busy during this time. My significant other and I were the only customers actively ordering when we arrived. Finally, after 20 minutes, my coffee was ready. To my dismay, it was lukewarm. To make matters worse, when I inquired whether the coffee already had cream in it or not, I was shown one finger signaling me to wait by the barista who was on the phone. The service was subpar to say the least. I was given a half-hearted "sorry for the wait" at the end of the 20 minutes. I would be inclined to give this review 1 star were it not for the atmosphere and a few prior decent experiences. However, after this latest trip, I will not be visiting Sidekick Coffee & Books again. I would rather support another local business, such as the Java House.
This place is awesome, great drinks
I loved that I was surrounded by shelves of books. Nice atmosphere
Good book selection and super nice staff every time I go. Couldn’t recommend this place enough:)
Best place for lattes.
Really cool place
Love the coffee, loose leaf and incredible pastries. They are handling the coronavirus with great ease and protecting all customers. When no virus, there is no WiFi which makes it perfect for no distraction conversation, playing with children at one of their reading times or in the play corner, or reading and purchasing one of their great books for sale.
