Barista was friendly, however the seasonal creamsicle latte was not good & tasted spoiled? The lattes all come with oat milk & inside a jar with an extra & mandatory $1 for it ($7 total). Unfortunately, I found the the plant presence very overwhelming.

Such a gem in the Iowa City ped mall! The vegan scones are my favorite!

When thinking on what to write about this place, I just can't get around believing that it's one of the best places you can patron... seriously. The people are great. The atmosphere is great (even though they play Shrek a lot). The coffee? Great. Genuinely, I have learned more about coffee from these guys than anywhere else in the world - it's almost kind of a negative because now I can't go to places that are everywhere (i.e., Starbucks) because they just don't taste right to me anymore. Matter of fact, Daydrink does such a great job with their coffee that I don't even consider it to be the same drink as something you'd get from other ~popular~ places. Daydrink transcends. Daydrink has opened up my third (coffee) eye. And I think that's special. On top of all of this, it's somewhere that is open to everyone. I have been many times and I have never seen a person come in and feel like they're not welcome there - to one up that, I don't think there's been a person that goes to grab a coffee that leaves without feeling like a friend. These are the homies, and these homies know how to do it right. p.s., I also met the tallest person I've ever seen at Daydrink... Keep an eye out for Ed, man's the most gentle giant in the game. (and tell him I said hi)

Absolutely obsessed with Daydrink, not only is it located inside a small local plant shop (that’s also amazing), but the espresso drinks are fantastic. I try to get something different every time I go but my top two for sure are the figgy and their seasonal pumpkin spice. Today I tried their dreamsicle hot and oh my, SO good. Prices are so good too. $5 for a coffee drink? And it’s delicious every time? Count me in. Makes my $8 Scooters order yesterday feel pathetic. I hope this place stays around forever. My favorite afternoon pick me up and the coffee place I take all my visiting friends and family.

This is one of my absolute favorite coffee shops in Iowa City! The drinks are always unique with amazing flavor profiles, paired along with their personally roasted beans. The shop is very cozy with a lot of natural light. I love to come every Friday for Espresso After Class!

Was in Iowa City and stopped by for a quick drink. Ended up sitting and staying for a while. Be aware there's not a lot of seating, but the comfy factor is through the roof. The drinks were delicious. My wife got the Peanut Brittle Latte which she said was the second-best coffee drink she's had all year -> we live in Hawaii where coffee culture is huge, so take that as you will. I ordered the Fig latte, forgetting the exact name, with less sweetness and it was perfect. Bought a jar of beans and have made two aeropress cups so far, both fantastic. Would recommend Daydrink to everyone!

The perfect coffee and love their use of glass cups to serve it. The plant shop is also cool and we enjoyed our coffee surrounded by beautiful plants.

Super cute coffee house. We went to the walk up window.. The barista suggested a lovely latte. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it. If we were close to day drink again we would definitely go back. Your coffee comes in a glass jar if you take it back you get a dollar off. Recommended.

Absolutely loved this place! Got a super yummy matcha, and shared a second drink (the fruity pebbles “bam bam” latte) Obsessed with the reusable glass program, and the use of solely oat milk. My husband and I are very hard to impress with coffee shops & had to stop on our way through Iowa City and we LOVED this spot. Reasonably priced, quick service & friendly workers. Also is attached to a super cute store - it was closed when we came through but we will be back!

I love the coffee!!!! Mocha tasted soooo good. It's a little on the pricey side for the amount I got, but I appreciate their efforts to reduce the carbon footprint!
