tasty coffee, sweet shop
Great coffee. Lots of seating. Eclectic bathroom art. All my boxes are checked…
Love this coffee brand. Driving along I-80, if you’re seeking quality coffees, stop here. Only a mile off the interstate. Main drawback is parking… limited spots. Staff - Midwest friendly!
You know, when Press first opened up I thought it was just convenient to have a drive-thru Cafe close to my house but it's actually growing on me as a hangout spot too. There's more seating downstairs which I didn't even realize until they started hosting CCAN and other groups' reproductive rights advocacy meetings and generously providing them with coffee and pastries. Hard to beat that kinda community spirit, but I do wish they had a medium roast more often...
Great place to work, socialize or just enjoy a pastry and a coffee. The aesthetic was very nice, and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely come here again and recommend to my friends and family.
Great little place with neat coffee choices. Watch out for the narrow drive thru lane!
It's now my favourite cafe in Iowa City: - The desks are spacious and sturdy; the chairs are not bulky and unwieldy like many other cafes; there are many napkin stations; the lighting is perfect - Cute patisserie - Amazing vibes The only thing that subtracts from my experience is the slow wi-fi and the very cold temperature down in the basement
Staff so friendly and helpful to this first time visitor. Loved it, will definitely be back. 😍
They make really good lattes. The staff are so wonderful and can make anything you want. They do have a dirty chai latte that is oddly good. (Has shots of espresso in it.) The atmosphere inside is relaxing and they have outdoor seating as well. Not that many parking spots but they do have a drive thru.
This place is so cute and my drink was fantastic. Will be back
Cosy little coffee shop. Parking a little tight.
Very nice coffee shop I enjoyed my visit
Cozy atmosphere, great staff, great coffee and tea.
Awsome little spot for Tea. The decor is not for everyone but I find it to have very good taste definelty will be back.
I can't believe they added a loyalty program right as we left town. Unique seasonal drinks, great staff and the owners do right by them. Highlighting artist in the community is a plus.
Great little coffee shop! They have an interesting layout. Comfortable seating, two floors, and a small children's area. Great place to have study sessions or meet up for coffee.
This is a cute and convenient spot, but it’s too loud for studying, reading, etc. I mainly go to coffee shops to write and work. can deal with a little background noise, but it’s become a spot for business meetings and socializing, including the basement, so it doesn’t work well for my quiet purposes anymore. My other issue is that the coffee cups are always half filled. Overall, it’s a shame but when I can hear every word of 6 different conversations at once I stopped going as often.
Cool place, very tight drive-through. Excellent coffee.
Super comfy! Seems like many coffee shops these days go for modernist/industrial chic, which doesn’t feel particularly inviting to me. Press, on the other hand, is super cozy and feels warm, but the tables still allow for productivity. One of the best coffee shop atmospheres I’ve experienced!
We’ve been to Press many times, but the last several times walked away disappointed. We came in on Black Friday. The staff was rather unfriendly.I order two gingerbread lattes. We took our drinks and left. Both drinks tasted like warm milk with no flavor. I’m not even sure there was espresso in them. It was not worth the $10 I spent.
