Abysmal...all of it was tasteless and inedible. Two sandwiches, soups and one salad, a chocolate chip cookie bar. Ended up throwing most of it away. $55 in the trash
My salad was delicious but my companion found a long blonde hair in hers.
The best salads I can find in .. Best salads anywhere!
My kids were excited about "building" their own salad when we ordered online. And then they ATE IT. Enough said. 5 stars.
Actually a little unimpressed and overcharged, staff didnt even call our name they just let our order sit there. For the price you can get bettter food elsewhere.
Iowa City classic coffee shop. Excellent food, especially the large chop salads and of course great coffee. The baristas are typically quite good and deliver a consistently high quality coffee of your particular choice. Very nice atmosphere is conducive to small meetings as well as time with friends
Worst grilled cheese I've ever had. Bread was greasy, soggy and barely toasted. Way too much cheese-- yes that is a thing. I ordered soup and a sandwich in the restaurant but they hand it to you in a greasy paper bag. Ok i guess I'll eat in my car. Didn't get my drink, apparently you have to go to the coffee shop on the other side to get a glass of water. Tomato soup was ok.
It was good but expensive for just a sandwich and lemonade
Great salads. If they had blue cheese dressing, I'd give it 5 stars. How can you have a salad restaurant without it??
Love the salads here. Favorite is the classic ceaser. I get it medium chopped and it is perfect. The restaurant is always very clean and welcoming. I get in get my order and get out quickly. Definitely a favorite.
This one really hurts, because I used to really enjoy this place. It seems like over the past year or so the attention to detail has really slipped. The quality of the food has dropped and nothing feels fresh. I used to go in person, but I tried ordering online to support them during the pandemic and my order was not right (they sent a small bowl of soup when I ordered a quart so I had to make other plans for my family for dinner and paid $13 for a small bowl of soup) and the dinner rolls they sent with it felt several days old. I may try the Heirloom downtown, because I did enjoy it when it was running well, but for now, this is a stay away for me.
Used to be a really nice, reasonably priced salad soup and sandwich place. Now they upped the prices and their food isn’t even worth it anymore. Paid 13$ for this small salad, barely any toppings. The workers nowadays are in no rush to get your food quick at all.
Not one time have I went have they have gotten my order correct.
Salad is below average. The vegetables were not fresh and rather soggy. The lettuce tasted like it had been frozen and thawed out.
The customer service is awful and so are the wait times. There's no reason someone can call and order on the phone, wait 20 minutes to go get it and then wait another 30 before your order is ready for just a soup and a sandwich. Half of the staff is rude and or has attitudes every time I go. I will not be coming back to this location. Not worth it in the least.
It's hard to rate our locally beloved chain average but this particular location falls below their usual standards
Good place to get a great salad
Good food. Expensive and never enough staff to meet customers’ needs in a timely manner. Could take it or leave it.
Great food and beverages!
Yummy salad. Quick service. Clean and welcome space.
