Updating my 5 year old review, which was 5 stars, to 1 star based on how terrible the drive through is. 40 minutes and counting... They should just close the drive through permanently
Tell me why it took 30 minutes, and there were only three cars in the line.
Honestly - the drive through is the worst in town. The poor people working here are always so stressed and they never have anything in stock. If you go in the drive through with no cars expect to wait 30 minutes plus. I don’t even know why I try to see if anything has improved every couple of months - it doesn’t. ETA: I did call to speak to the manager who informed me that their drive through is their last priority, so if you are in a rush - it is better to go inside.
Not usually one to review places but I've gotta add to the commentary here. I spent 30mins in the drive-thru for a small order... it just is not worth the time you'd might as well go downtown. Food and smoothie was great no issues there. They did try to give me 2 of the same smoothie though. My point is this location is clearly not functioning well. They seem scattered and disorganized. Could really use some help from corporate. Thanks!
I love Bruegger's. I only gave 4 stars because the drive thru is a nightmare. Definitely go inside for faster service.
I put up with the long lines and slow service, I didn’t mind when they stopped cutting the bagels in half. But if I tell you there was a drink said wrong at the drive through and you can’t change it for me and give me the drink i didn’t ask for…. that’s just straight up lazy.
Always pleasant staff and great food
The absolute worst bagel I have ever had. I ordered the Western and it came without bacon. I understand it was likely a busy Saturday breakfast, but if an item is 86d then I should have been told so I could have picked something else. Bruegger’s is a special treat for us and I was starving hungry so it was a huge disappointment to have to eat this terrible bagel. I have worked as a professional baker and this bagel never should have made it out the door to a paying customer. I can’t believe I paid like 8 dollars for it. UPDATE 4/02 I tried again at this location despite the fact that I never received any kind of response from the customer service team regarding my terrible experience last time. This time I waited almost half an hour in the drive through. My bagel was once again so thin it barely counted as a bagel. Whoever is baking them is not doing it right at all. I was charged for two eggs even though that wasn’t what I ordered. This time I paid with card and kept my receipt so that I could be refunded if necessary and it absolutely was necessary. I wouldn’t recommend this Bruegger’s location to my worst enemy. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Genuinely the worst drive thru I've ever been to. Been this way for months. Occasionally I'll check it out to see if it's any better. Today I had a little bet with myself if I'd get to even order my food in twenty minutes. I lost. It's genuinely mind boggling how it can be this slow for this long with no changes. I had the worst craving otherwise I'd have never stuck it out. But don't even think of trying the drive thru in this location unless you are sure you have half an hour to spare, because it just might take that long!
Good coffee and bagels with various cream cheese.
I found plastic in my muffin, a very large peace of plastic..
Delicious bagels, friendly staff, clean restaurant. A bit of a difficult drive through but it works with being where it is located
unfortunately the service has gone down hill. not sure if they are understaffed or workers are burnt out. either way I don't think I will be back anytime soon
The food was not worth the and extreme wait. The bagel was blah and I waited in the drive through 30 minutes
45 minute wait for ONE bagel. There were 3 cars in front of me and I assumed they just had super large orders but the car in front of me literally ordered just a smoothie. It’s ridiculous how this is the case every time I make the mistake of coming here. Never again.

30+ minute wait in drive thru, the poor workers look like they’re doing 4 jobs at once. The quality of the food is pretty bad. Burnt bagels and lumpy smoothies. Hope they can improve management because this is ridiculous.
Why does it take so long to get food through the drive through here. I’ve been here 3 times in the past month and it takes about 15-20 minutes to only get 1 BAGEL. This place used to be solid, now the management and food pace is terrible.
joel made me the best sandwich i had ever had in my life, the diet coke was extra cold and my sandwich was extra hot. thank you guys
Usually best bagels in town, was told they were out of almost all bagels at 11::00 am, but they had an everything whole wheat , this is NOTHING like what I usually get , was more like an onion bagel. I got it thru drive thru or would have returned it. Usually fav spot before I head back to Cedar Rapids for Jamba juice or bagels.
