I don’t live in Iowa, but when I’m in Davenport, I make sure to stop here to get some Iced Coffee Concentrate—it’s the best iced coffee; I wish I could duplicate it at home, but for now I’ll just have to wait for sporadic trips to Iowa to grab some!
I cannot express enough how amazing the coffee and sandwiches are at this establishment!!!! I ordered a coffee and a chorizo sandwich I'd be willing to say that's the best coffee in the QCA and the sandwich was just as good. I would have posted pics. But my camera is not working properly.
Breakfast was delicious not ganna lie though came home and added cilantro was so fire made it taste so much fresher
I actually can’t stress how much I love this place. The coffee is the best I’ve ever had and don’t even get me started on the sandwiches. If I was on death row and I had a chance to have a last meal, an egg and chorizo sandwich with an iced caramel latte from this place would literally make whatever crime I committed worth it. Get over here. Like rn. Get off your phone that your are reading this review on and get in the car and go get Redband.
I’m in town for work attending a food convention and the best food I’ve had yet is the chorizo fried egg sandwich from redband. Fantastic!!! Service was amazing as well
The best Coffee Shop in the QC
Close to everything downtown Davenport. More importantly, it’s on my way to work!
Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing, coffee is pretty good.
Always delicious. Sausage fried egg sandwich 😍
Amazing flat white and the scones can’t be beat!
Always a good place. Love the Louisiana style iced coffee and sausage egg muffin.
Redband Coffee Co. is an institution in the area, but one I had not yet visited since returning to the Quad Cities Area a few years back. I'm not a huge coffee person, so I had little reason to seek them out. At any rate, I had recently had a sandwich at the Blue Spruce General Store and needed a walk, so what better place to walk to close by than Redband? It definitely doesn't look much different on foot than it does driving by - it occupies a relatively small red brick building that, if not for the signs indicating the place sells coffee, could be mistaken for a house on 4th street. The interior is not much to speak about, either. A plain grey concrete slab floor, white drywalls, and a white ceiling with some suspended light fixtures - with nowhere to sit inside. This probably works well in the summer, as there are picnic tables outside west of the shop, but in the winter the clear means of getting your hot beverage is to just go through the drive thru. I ended up ordering a hot chocolate (again, not a coffee person) and got the last peanut butter cookie they had available. I briefly sat at one of the picnic tables to pause and enjoy both. The hot chocolate is definitely on point - some kind of foam or cream on top, smooth and rich throughout - definitely some of the best I've had in the area. The cookie was similarly good - it was peanut buttery and just a little chewy, perfect to have with a hot chocolate. Not sure I'd come back here again, if just for the fact that I typically like places I can sit down and enjoy a drink with a book or a newspaper. Still, both the hot chocolate and pastry were fantastic and I'd recommend the place to those who enjoy getting both through the drive thru on their way to work or elsewhere. Thanks, Redband!
Coffee was good, not the best I have ever had but much better than going to Starbucks. The people working there were nice but the drive thru on a late Sunday morning was painfully slow.
Ive updated my score because wait times have significantly increased. Its great coffee but be prepared to WAIT
Great egg sandwiches a must stop location from anywhere in iowa to east. A little pricey. Edit: They increased prices exorbitantly and reduced portions significantly. Still tastes good but doesn’t worth the price. ps. they don’t have tap water so you have to pay $3 with tax to get a small bottle of water
Was out of town in Moline Illinois. Looked up some coffee shops and this one was highly recommend. Just 7 minutes away in Davenport Iowa.
never been here before and we had a few questions and the lady at the drive thru window talked to us like a we were retarded. very rude.
Can't agree more with all the other reviews. I also bought a bag of their roasted espresso beans. Am not from the QC area but I will be ordering their coffee online.
I can't say too much about it besides, the fried egg sandwiches are tasty, the New Orleans styled ice coffee not really NOLA style and off putting. Hot chocolate is good enough even though it's steamed. Overall, it was a decent choice for breakfast.
Egg sandwich was wonderful. Blueberry scone and lattes were delightful!
