Barn Happy was the best gift shop with Iowa goods and the food was amazing . They had a huge selection of desserts. Kris who is the owner of Barn Happy is very nice person. She is very personable. She checks on you quit often so does her waitress. Kris likes to talk to you. I will definitely tell my friends and family to go to the Barn Happy to eat and look around the gift shops. Kris does a really good job of decorating the Barn Happy the upstairs of the Barn Happy. The have a place that you can rent out for showers graduation parties which you can bring your own food in. The place is called The Crib. Thank Kris for a wonderful time at Barn Happy Melissa and I had a great time.
They are so welcoming to the place when you first walk in. And very friendly and helpful and food was awesome!!! And the merchandise in the shop is amazing stop in must see place!!!
The cutest store with friendly people! A variety of antique, handmade, and popular gifts. The coffee and cake are delicious (I recommend the spiced butter cake with coconut and walnuts). Kris and the whole staff are wonderful, Barn Happy is a must-visit!

Quaint little cafe, coffee shop and country store. The quiche we had was delicious, and they had a large selection of brewed coffee (bottomless) which all tasted amazingly. We were too full for any of the amazing looking desserts, but I know we will be back and I'm going to take advantage next time.
What a great experience! My friends and I were greeted with such friendliness. The environment is delightful and the lunch was awesome!!!!!!
I have never had tuna made this way. Except in my kitchen. Most people make with relish not me. This was a pleasant surprise. The side of coleslaw was great too. Will stop back on my next trip into town
Sandwhich, soup or quiche...all yummy but be sure to save room for their DESSERTS!!!
🌾🍛🛍️🐝🐔 Welcoming eclectic atmosphere. Variety of homemade goodies as well as mass produced retail items. Main room contains the cafe with surrounding retail. Upstairs contains more retail. Bought an Almond Bar, Iowa State Map and Des Moines restaurant book.
I was here with a wedding party for a rehearsal dinner. The venue was adorable and accommodating. Perfect for a large group dinner if you're looking for a place in the Cedar Valley.
Great place for parties and holiday get together. Does not serve food.

Met a friend at Barn Happy yesterday. The food was really good and the pastries were wonderful! Took home a bag of goodies for the road. I recommend this warm, happy barn .
Took my mom there for mother's day.. We had the best greeting at the door. Very very friendly. I had bacon and Swiss quiche. I absolutely loved it.. Tuna sandwich and apple slaw, yummy. Can't wait to come back and try all the other dishes.. I will try some desert next time.. Thanks barn happy for a great experience

Super cute. Lots of cute items and some really good desserts. I’m a college student, so it’s always fun to find a new coffee place.
Lovely choices of Iowa made products. So many things to choose from in other items as well. Food was amazing. Apple bacon coleslaw was everyone’s favorite.
Interesting local craft items great food. Was disappointed with the store downsizing of items it's mostly tables for eating now. Other outbuildings weren't open for business.
