Small town atmosphere and great service!
Oh my gosh. My chicken curry bowl was crazy good. Where has this been all my life?!!! = )
Ate outside and it was beautiful! Chicken salad and coffee excellent.
Beware of any place that wants your tip before they provide any service. Never so much as got a water refill. Just one dropoff of drinks then another single visit to drop off the plates. That was the last I saw of the service. Food was otherwise okay.
Love the diverse menu. Excellent coffee and amazing customer service.

Cottonwood has some of the best coffee in town. I started coming to cottonwood back in college when they were located in Waterloo. Back then, my friends and I would go there to work on our business ideas for opening a music studio. The owner would come over to learn more about what we were doing and our passions and even offered the upstairs as a potential solution to our ideas. The people running this place are awesome! The food is a1 and the coffee is top notch. You can get bags of their coffee at Hy-Vee but stop in to their actual location and buy direct (I’m sure they make more money when you do it that way). Thanks for existing!
I did a carry out order today for breakfest and the staff member was very friendly and the food was soo fresh and amazing! I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town!
Delicious healthy food! Tried it first time cause it was closed to my apartment but after that I was going almost everyday! The scrambler, pork rice and chicken curry were delicious!! If you want some comfort healthy food, this is your place :)
Amazing lunch spot! The food got me in the door, but the coffee kept me there!
We come here pretty regular to either get take out or eat in--I have to say it's my favorite breakfast place in the Cedar Valley. Absolutely wonderful breakfast sandwich and such a cute place to hang out!
I love this place! The foods are delicious. Their breakfast sandwich is my favorite. I would say this place is one of the best local businesses in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The quality of the food is 10/10. Their employees are also nice! I'll be returning to this place again. I'd recommend this place to anyone who hasn't tried this place. Cottonwood Canyon and the owner are amazing!

Would give 0 stars but the coffee was decent. My breakfast however was so poorly made. I paid $12 for spinach and they skimped me on everything else that was supposed to be included. Just nothing made sense there. Included with the meal was a tiny cup with 4 blueberries, like why 4? Is that supposed to make up for my undershot breakfast? Not well kept either.
I buy coffee beans here. Excellent flavors and choices.
The breakfast is out of this world! Definitely worth a stop for the Caribbean pork breakfast.
Quirky, cute place. We had 6 people and waited for our food for an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered!!! Breakfast burritos were terrible. Bowls were decent. Coffee was so-so. Staff was NOT pleasant. We will not be going back. Too bad, because it has potential.
The food was good and I adore the location. More houses should be turned into small shops! My only qualm was I got a grilled cheese and it was around 20-30 minutes before we got it.
The food was amazing and so was the coffee! Definitely going back again!
