Food was microwaved
The employees are so nice here. Every time I visit, they make it special.

Scooters is located on hwy 3, across from McDonalds, and is a convenient drive thru coffee place. It looks modern and clean, is friendly, and the breakfast sandwiches are pretty good. The staff are friendly and will tell you to “scoot on up to the window” after you order. The coffee is good and there are many choices - not as many however as that competitor with the mermaid logo. I believe Scooters is the only drive thru coffee place in New Castle, and it is nice to see it in rural Indiana.
Edit: We actually decided to give them a second chance but this time we were going to call first to make sure they actually HAD sandwiches… but the phone number listed on google didn’t work. They won’t get a third chance from us. Waited like a month to try this place to let the big lines die down from the “new place”. Will never be back. If you can’t keep sandwiches stocked past 2 IN THE AFTERNOON (pathetic) then what’s the point of coming there? Guess I won’t try Scooters. Didn’t get a coffee drink either. Not giving you ANY money if that’s the best you can do. #hangryandyoudidnthelp
It's a solid coffee. If you need something quick and easy this is the place to go. It's not your stereotypical coffee shop.
German chocolate was amazing best thing by far 10-10 on that drink 100
Went a few days ago to try it. My iced chai had the essence of chai, but still tasted artificial, which was disappointing. My spouse had a mocha and couldn’t even finish half of it. Most likely won’t be back.
Breakfast burritos are literally microwaved burritos cooked so hot when I bit into it, the juices proceeded to squirt out onto my hand burning my fingers. A microwaved burrito? For $4? Never going back.
Ordered iced americano and had enough ice to cool to body temp. I like iced and hot and this was neither.

A medium hot coffee with hazelnut creamer and 2 sugars for almost $7!!??? Guys. Come on.
Went here twice every time the coffee is super strong and has no sweet flavor just taste like plain black coffee… i just can’t get into the hype of it… super costly too for a small…
Today was my first day at this shop. I ordered a large mocha. The staff was friendly, polite and prompt. I got my coffee quickly and without issues. The mocha had an excellent deep chocolate flavor. It was mixed good. I highly recommend Scooter's Coffee in New Castle, IN.
Have been twice and neither drink was good at all! Also more expensive than Starbucks. A small was over $6 for a pretty basic drink. Got the same thing at Starbucks the next day and it was about $1.50 cheaper and tasted wayyy better!
Best coffee shop in the area. This chain is elite and could not be happier to have one local! Always a pleasure to visit.
Coffee is pretty decent, but they aren't very accommodating with food orders. Asked for an everything bagel without the sausage (couldn't substitute a different meat) expecting to get the cheese with the egg and only received an egg on the bagel. Then asked to add an item at the checkout window and was told we would have to drive back through because they couldn't add anything at the window. But at least the coffee is decent.
Sandwiches come frozen and are cooked in a toaster oven. Coffee is nothing special yet 2 Sandwiches and 2 medium coffees (the smallest you can get) for $22.50?! Ridiculous! You can get better Coffee and food from speedway across the street and at a better price.
Good service and not a terrible coffee, but u can get a just as good of one across the street at McDonald’s for half the price. $7 for a medium coffee is a little crazy
Just stopped at Scooter's for the first time. The lady that was working couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. And what she recommended was very good. As far as the negative reviews go, like all businesses, they are struggling to get reliable help. As a fellow business owner I can empathize and sympathize!
