I wanted to share an unfortunate experience I had yesterday morning at the Coffee Crossing coffee shop at 805 Tatiana Pl in New Albany, IN. The girl at the window handed me my coffee and the lid wasn’t on tight. The coffee spilled all over my skirt, car seat, door jam. I told her immediately that the lid wasn’t secure. She said she was so sorry and handed me a handful of napkins and told me they would make me a new one. I’m cleaning up the disaster of hot coffee all over myself and car and the manager comes to the window and asks to have the coffee cup and proceeds to tell me that she is happy to pour what’s left in a new cup but that she can’t make a new one due to policy of user error. My mouth literally dropped. I asked if I could talk to supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. I’m literally in shock at how this was handled. She told me I could reach out/send a message on their website and gave me the owners name. I drove home to change my clothes now running late for work. I was absolutely appalled at how this was handled by the manager there and I thought you may want to know. I’ve been a frequent customer of Coffee Crossing and never had any issues with any of the locations I’ve ever frequented. In fact I was using a full stamped card for my drink yesterday morning for this. Weird enough, I told my teenagers about what had happened and they said the same thing happened to them when they went through the drive thru the day before at the same location. The lids weren’t on tightly and it spilled in their Jeep. (This message was sent to the coffee crossing message portal on 5/25/23 as well as to their instagram page. I was hoping someone would reach out, but they haven’t.)

Really nice employees! Best part is if they screw up your drink they tell you to keep it and dont ask you to pay for it which is nice. Also punch card for a free drink is convienent.
Never fail to get a Great coffee here.
Coffee is the best in town. I prefer the sweetness of their coffees over others. They do punch cards as well so you get a free coffee after you fill it which is an added bonus.

I always go threw the drive threw service is always great. All I get is coffee so I'm not sure about the food.

This coffee crossing is my personal favorite. Staff are always friendly and great. Shout out to Bethany and Liz! (Great workers here) Coffee is some of the best in town, and pretty reasonably priced as well. The bathrooms are always clean, along with the general area, which is always a big plus. I highly recommend this coffee crossing to anyone looking to study or meet with a friend!
Great selection of coffee and lattes. Best part is most of their menu can be made sugar-free which is great for a diabetic like me.

I love Coffee Crossing. I come here all the time for coffee and to study. It's got the best coffee in town, a beautiful atmosphere, and the staff are always very friendly. Can't recommend enough.
