Love this community coffee shop with used books and fantastic bagel sandwiches. Always a pleasure talking to staff and locals make you feel welcome. Not to mention Mickey's hosts special events! Mini tarot Readings, open mic night, market exchange, etc. Excellent place un the uptown NA

Mickeys is a unique business combining great coffee, used books and an ecclectic atmosphere. Owners very supportive of the community. Great place to meet up with friends for a chat.

This place is dope and you can be dope too but only if you go to this place. Bought an Ursula K. LeGuin novel and a tasty bagel with coffee. What's not to love? Honestly stop what you're doing and go there right now, even if they're closed; just camp outside until they open again, the place is a gem, all you need in life is coffee and books, which you can enjoy in jail if you get arrested for camping without a permit.

Coffee was great. I had a signature flavor that was delicious. And the shop is so cute and comfy, while the used books are very reasonably priced with a good selection. And the absolutely wonderful service was the cherry on top. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I highly suggest you visit, even just once, to appreciate this neat little place.

So I have lived in New Albany for around 4 years now and have drove by here regularly and didn'treally think about it. Well today the wife and I decided to try it out. And let's just say wow. I got the white chocolate iced espresso with a double shot, and the wife had the blackberry iced espresso(with extra light ice). Let me say I will never go to shartbucks again. (And no that's not a typo lol). I have found my new favorite coffee shop. They have an amazing atmosphere, friendly guy who made our drinks was helpful and informative on the fact that they make all their syrups and flavors in house. (None of that chemistry lab pump stuff here.) He asked about the amount of ice he was putting in the drinks and if it was to much or would I like less. Try getting this treatmentat at any other coffeeshop and I bet you wont. It was an amazing experience and I will be back from now on.. You have gained a new life customer. Oh and the drinks are 10000000000000x better then any coffee I have ever had.

Mickey’s is one of the best gems in New Albany. Delicious lattes and teas. Good bagel sandwiches. Awesome environment. The staff is always so friendly and happy to see you there. There are also tons of books and art to look at while there. We love Mickey’s and you should too!

If you're looking for a charming and inviting spot to enjoy a delicious latte and immerse yourself in a good book, look no further than Mickey's. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The shop is beautifully decorated with plenty of greenery, vintage decor, and lots of natural light pouring in through the large windows. It was a peaceful and serene space that made me feel instantly relaxed and oh so cozy. One of the highlights of this coffee shop for me is their homemade flavored syrups for lattes. I tried the blackberry syrup and it was absolutely delicious! The syrup had a subtle yet distinct flavor that perfectly complemented the coffee. It was clear that the shop takes pride in using high-quality ingredients and putting care and attention into crafting their beverages. As I sipped my latte, I perused the book selection. They have a great mix of new-ish releases, classics, and lesser-known titles. I appreciated the curated selection, which made it easy to find something that suited anyones's taste. Overall, I highly recommend this New Albany charmer. The combination of delicious beverages, inviting atmosphere, and great book selection made for a truly enjoyable experience. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind with a good book or catch up with a friend over a cup of coffee.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood coffee shops! The overall vibe is so cozy and welcoming as it's also a used bookstore. Mickey and his crew are great and provide a wonderful service every time you enter!

Awesome vibes and even better coffee. Every employee we’ve had encounters with are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. My wife loves their cookie butter iced latte, and they always go the extra mile to put a smile on our 4 year old’s face. We will always be back!

Great vibe! I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Especially if you’re from out of town — It’s a place that encapsulates the lowkeyness, quaintness, cool vibe, and laidbackness of the area perfectly. Pick up a book, read one of the free local brochures/poetry/news that are laying around, ask about their special community events, have great coffee, start your day with some of the best baristas in the area. 10/10.
