My husband and I come to Panther every Saturday morning for a coffee and coconut macron. The baristas are so friendly and welcoming and the coffee is always great. (Thank you to the barista lady we consistently saw - we appreciate you.) A wonderful place for a quick or longer stay. Cheers to the incredible staff for making this our favorite Saturday ritual.
One of the best espresso in miami.
I found this place a day before going back home and I really regret it! It's a great coffee, multiple options and take away.
Top quality latte. As someone who has gone to many places. This one gets my seal of approval (for lattes) It is quite expensive though but well worth it.
It’s ok.
April 19th, Sunday morning. I asked for a single shot espresso to the cashier. Then, I emphasized to both baristas that I would like a ristretto. Both said they knew it. After waiting sometime the other tickets orders were gone and I saw that my ticket was the only one above the coffee machine. Two more minutes and asked if my coffee was coming out. The lady, who was placing cups on top of the machine, said that my espresso was ready and served to me. It must had been ready for a while, as the foam was gone and it was not as hot as it should be. I hope this feedback helps the Panther to improve its customer service and the quality of the product it serves. I did not expect this kind of experience and quality of espresso in a place that has a La Marzocco machine.
Been here many times, Which means I really like the place. Nice people and coffee is good.
Great coffee, but skip the food! My ‘pain au chocolat’ was stale AF and a few days old. Staff tried to convince me it came in this morning, what a joke. Donate old food rather than selling it at $5… 15% service charge… 7% tax… and improve training of staff on handling customer complaints. Beans are great, as are the barista skills.
I’ve been to various Panther coffee locations. (Wynwood location 2 years ago once, never went back, Little Haiti location same thing, Coconut Grove couple times and final one it’s Miami Beach (Purdy Ave) which it’s probably the worst one of all of them) They have the good quality coffee but the quality of making a coffee is completely terrible. I always order a simple “oat milk latte hot” and every time it’s always super hot, tongue-burning, taste like coffee mixed with water and milk.. simply a mess but coffee. Maybe on one lucky day I had a good made latte in Coconut Grove location but that’s all. On top of that they charge you %15 service fee on top of tax and still ask for a tip after that! Which for me is not a problem but for that coffee experience.. no thank you! My 12oz oat milk latte cost me $10 (In many other and better coffee shops like: Wells Coffee, Vice City Bean, Subculture it would be around $7)
actually Terrible, got the espresso flight. Very salty which usually is a sign the water wasn’t hot enough or the beans weren’t ground properly.
They have vegan empanadas!! Also three kinds of alt milk (macadamia, oat, almond). Cortado and nitro cold brew were excellent! Thanks for being inclusive!!
I paid $7.30+ for a 12 oz ice coffee with milk and vanilla. I could get a venti at Starbucks for less $$$. Hard to support local with such a price disparity
As a panther, I had the chance to pay a visit to Panther Coffee and sample their coffee firsthand. To my surprise, there was no deer in the coffee, but the milk used was of top-notch quality. It was creamy, smooth, and had a rich buttery flavor that was a real treat for the senses. The shop had a welcoming atmosphere with friendly baristas and a lovely aroma of freshly brewed coffee. They had a great selection of coffee beans, teas, and other beverages, which made it difficult to choose just one! The coffee was expertly brewed and presented with care. The balance between the coffee and milk was spot on, resulting in a rich and satisfying cup. In conclusion, my visit to Panther Coffee left me impressed, despite the lack of deer. And to all my fellow panthers out there, if you ever find yourself in the mood for a caffeine fix, why not try Panther Coffee? After all, it's not every day you get to have a coffee with your own name on it! And as a panther joke, I heard the baristas were so good at their craft, they could make a coffee run as fast as a cheetah!
Wifi was superrr slow - not good for someone working and needs good wifi. Said 30mbps max I tried in 4 different parts inside and out and both Wi-Fi’s available. Coffee was expensive super small but pretty good. Ambience was too dark in back of store for my liking
I wonder if most people like Panther coffee because they think they're " supposed" like Panther coffee. I don't think I've had an enjoyable cup at a Panther coffee. I've been to the one in the Grove and the Beach. I recently went to the one on the Beach and the gentleman helping me was nice enough though I asked for something " bold" and I got, MEHHHH. What's the deal with watered down, no body, " fru-fru" tasting coffee? Oh, and the banana choc chip muffin was dry and tasted 2 days old. Have some integrity in your product for god's sake.
Amazing coffee. I had a Coconut macaroon and it was fantastic!
hate giving people i like bad reviews. fix your payment ui. the way it’s currently set up if it forces you to tip before making payment. then there is a secondary step to tap to pay. neither of the step work seem less resulting in a “sorry your payment didn’t go through in a semi passive shame-full tone from the cashier”. not what i’m looking for from a place serving 8$ cold brew. fix it. and i’ll readjust review.
Nice design but $10 for a breve latte that took a trainee 10 min to make is no bueno!
My experience at Panther has been decaying throughout the years (Price relative to experience), and after todays incident I don't think I'm going back. Panther is probably in the 5% most expensive coffee shops in Miami/Miami Beach. I'm okay with "paying more for better", but in my experience the product's consistency and service are not reflecting to me that price level, specially recently. In the recent months I've experienced often that the coffee I get varies. Maybe the proportions of milk, or honey... I don't know, but the product is often considerably different. This week I've ordered coffee two different days. I always order the same thing (Latte with Honey Syrup). The first day they forgot to put any syrup inside, and I basically went home with a (to me) tasteless $10 coffee. The second time they put so much syrup I couldn't even enjoy drink it. It was an abnormal quantity of syrup as I can compare it with the other 50-100 coffee that I've ordered here. And it was not a huge deal as I asked if they could make a new one with less syrup, and they kindly did. The bigger deal comes when one of the servers Christofer "talked down" to me when asking if they could mix it in, instead of giving me a side of honey syrup for me to mix, as they did. There's no reason to be disrespectful to a client that has not been disrespectful to them first. I don't think I will be coming back.
