The burritos were enormous. Thankfully, they were also delicious. We tried the scones on the recommendation of the lady who helped us - and they were amazing too
Very nice people worked there Briefly but loved every moment of it! I wish I was in better condition I would have loved to work there as long as possible. But I still will have the grate memories to go with me through life would recommend for job ,food , and the train
WOW!!! We moved to Cañon City about two months ago and have been on a hunt for THE local hotspot for coffee and breakfast. We didn’t not expect to find BOTH at the SAME place!! Seriously, the food is phenomenal, the coffee is spectacular and roasted here in Colorado, and the customer service is next level. The spot is cozy and family friendly with excellent outdoor seating. I cannot possibly rave enough about this place! It was shocking to not see the whole area packed with customers. Would’ve taken a picture of the amazing wrap and tacos, but we were caught up in the smells, and once that first bite is taken, you’re not putting em down! This is by far the BEST coffee and breakfast in town and the surrounding area. Do yourself a favor, and visit this wonderful little cafe, and give these folks your business. They more than deserve it!
Not a big selection of items. Nice outdoor patio area.
My girlfriend and I visited Canon City this past week a decided to give this place a try for a early brunch. The girls working inside were great with our questions (we had a bunch). So, I ended up with the Southwest Wrap which was hands down one of the best things I had on our trip. The location while a little off the main road is the perfect to grab a nice little breakfast and then go for a nice walk over the bridge and burn off the calories you just took in, hahaha.
Went here at 2:25pm this afternoon to find it locked up and closed. What's up with the businesses in Canon City only opening certain weekends and less weekdays? It's an adjustment from living near cities that have their standard 6 days opening a week. Once I can get the opportunity to visit on my next day off, I'll make a proper "review" >__>
Said they were open and drove all the way there and they were closed. Please update your times
Definitely not open during the hours listed. Got here at 10:30am on a Tuesday. Called and it said they were busy with other customers, but the door is locked.
I’m not sure how anyone could give this place a 5 star review..I’m being generous with 2 bc the setting is nice and the staff was friendly..however the food was bad. Stuff on the menu that was supposed to be in the meals was substituted without knowledge along with not having green chili ready by 9 am for a main entree..also got one of the three entrees out 10-15 minutes before the others. The bagel for the breakfast sandwich was not even toasted after the long wait. This place has potential but wow was I k lol we down.. should have went to IHOP or Muggs. Hopefully the coffee here is better than the food.
Food, customer service, and atmosphere are great. Is a nice location with good amount of shade by the park and you have an opportunity to see the train come and go if there.
Great spot!! Cool and shaded outside. The Santa Fe breakfast was amazing! And served on parchment paper that says royal gorge post is a cute touch. Although the paper rips when you cut on it. They have a iced Irish coffee that was so good! Great job!
Very slow! Food was lukewarm. Asked for refund.
This experience was phenomenal! I had the loaded bagel, and a vanilla Carmel iced latte. Absolutely recommend.
This is a comfortable place to dine outdoors, weather permitting. Our simple meals were very delicious. They prepared the food mpstly outside. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Thanks Happy Endings Caboose.
This place beats all.
A delicious and fun experience! Taylor and Kayona were really sweet and gave us great recommendations on what to get for our first time here. My wife and I shared the French toast, which wasn't overly sweet and had beautiful presentation, along with the Santa Fe Breakfast which was the perfect breakfast meal having a base of hash browns with scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and the local green chile on top. It was so delicious and totally worth it. The chefs Frank and Garrett made this delicious meal and even checked in on us during our meal. The small things make this place amazing like the orange cold foam on top of the iced latte and the staffs' warm and incredible customer service. We highly recommend this place to everyone!!!
$9 for a 12oz hot chocolate and 16oz cup of weak mediocre coffee! Not a latte or cappuccino but plain cup of coffee!
Great place for lunch, coffee, some alcohol drinks, views of the train and Arkansas River.
We visited here Father's Day before riding the train. Besides for a mix up with our order being made, the food was fantastic! We had the Angus burger, a Ruben and an adult grilled cheese with their homemade chips! Would definitely recommend, the food was outstanding!
Wow! Did not expect the quality of food Here. They have it all breakfast and lunch. You can get coffee as well. Bathrooms are behind the caboose the next building over (public restrooms). The woman at the register was sweet and patient with us trying to pick our food. Order inside the caboose.
