Extremely good burritos must try
Nice little cafe / rock climbing gear shop in run down strip mall with some rough spots to work out. There's parking out front, but a sign that it only applies to the other two stores in the strip mail. Three tables - one large shared one, one small very high two top with tall stools, one low one with a couple of short couches. No outdoor seating. Free wi-fi with password you ask for. A couple of outlets. They do their own chai lattes from hand ground spices. Spicing is a bit too gingery, but otherwise good. Not too outrageously sweetened. However, the green tea was weirdly bitter.
Cafe Belay is such a blessing to our community! More than just an excellent place to stop in for a quality cup of coffee, this new establishment here in Cañon offers the uniqueness of a space where you as the customer feel valued, cared for, and served well by a staff that prioritizes building relationships with the people they serve. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!
I enjoyed my visit to Cafe Belay today, and plan on going back again! I worked there for the day and enjoyed: -gluten free vegan blueberry muffins are moist, dense, and bomb! -made-in-house kombucha is flavorful and nuanced -chai is blended in house and lighter and not too punchy -fruit smoothie was great (banana based with options for mango, strawberries, blueberries, and/or pineapple) -salad was outstanding! fresh greens topped with sliced almonds, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and house-made dressing (which was phenominal), definitely my favorite of the day The internet was good, and I was getting 40 Mbps download, 7-10 Mbps upload. Thanks so much for providing this wonderful space and healthy, delicious, foods and drinks!
If you want a coffee made with passion, go here. I've never been to a coffee shop that cared more about my coffee. Don't arrive in a rush. Relax, it takes a while to pour a cup of genuine love. Yes, it will be delicious. If you love coffee, this is THE place.
Stellar breakfast burrito hit the spot! Great coffee and specialty drink option. I opted for a Thai iced coffee for this sunny day and it hit perfect. Definitely check it out! Support local! 🤙🏻

Stopped in here on sunday morning for a coffee and breakfast burrito after some time at shelf road . And was really impressed. the owner is knowledgeable, nice and knows what he is doing. I routinely buy coffee from some of Denvers best, nationally recognized roasters and have enjoyed the pour overs and espresso I made from the beans I bought just as much. the breakfast burrito was fantastic as well!

Had a fantastic dirty iced chai with oat milk and happily perused some climbing gear and guide books while getting recommendations from the owner about great climbing and adventuring nearby!
Stopped by for a light breakfast and coffee after sky diving and I'm so happy I randomly picked this place. Super small on the inside but extremely inviting and cozy. Got a pour over with lavender and a breakfast burrito. I had questions about what you can do with pour-overs and the nice gentleman working was more than happy to answer all of my questions. The breakfast burrito was not just a normal dinky burrito you would normally get, it was full of fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Will definitely make this my go-to stop if I'm in the Canon City area!
Good coffee, good beta, and a bit of gear if you forgot something...
All I have to say is HOMEMADE SYRUPS! Best latte of my whole roadtrip!! Silky smooth steamed milk and a creamy espresso pull - no bitterness!! The lavender syrup was so so good.
I love to support small businesses and this is the best kind. I have been buying my coffee beans for home here (so good), but I never miss the opportunity to get a hot cup, too. Spencer is a true artist and is very involved in the roasting and brewing process to make sure the coffee is top quality... but somehow the price is still reasonable. It's so neat how they also have a selection of rock climbing equipment, so you could replace a piece of gear without messing up your weekend plans!
Great coffee shop on our trip. The breakfast burrito and coffee were delicious and flavorful. Will definitely stop by the next time we're in town!

All the food is amazing!!!! Definitely recommend the breakfast burrito or banana chocolate chip walnut bread! Also the chai is homemade and awesome!
