My wife and I were sat the bar which overlooks their prep/grill area. And while we were definitely satisfied with our orders we couldn't help but wish that we would've ordered one of everything! The food is amazing. We had the shrimp roll and the rockfish cake.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in the country… it’s an experience. The somewhat remote and semi-wacky (tho just “the usual” hi-desert environs ;)) location, the smart service, but mostly the beautifully inventive and delicious twists on American classics done with love and care. I hate driving, but I will happily get in the car for this. It is a truly special place I hold dearly to my heart. During Covid they kept it going with take home meals and sangria, etc. and entertaining Instagram stories. Literally was one of the brightest spots during that time period for our family. Their authenticity and commitment are the best - absolutely love the whole team and experience. If you are within a 3 hour driving distance - I am telling you it is a must. Make it a trip by going to pioneer town too or make it a weekend and also go to Joshua tree.

Nothing makes me or my belly happier than the little trip up the hill to see the wonderful Claire and Nikki at La Copine. My favourite place to eat in the US 💯!

I mean the fooooood makes this place over the top! With a revolving menu and freshest of choices for ever palette I've never had anything but delicious meals from start to finish. Thank you for bringing it each and every day from hostess to cooks it was marvelous! Make sure to get the fried eggplant though with extra tomato chutney!!!

Excellent food. Small place and very busy, so get there right away for a spot or small wait. We loved the burger, the avocado artichoke toast, the grits, white fish cakes, and the beet salad.

I absolutely loved this spot! Be sure to make a reservation otherwise you'll end up having to wait a bit. If you are stuck waiting there is still the option to order drinks which is nice! Food was delicious - I ordered Wild Toast and loved it! I recommend!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! You must reserve ahead of time and it is well worth it. Every dish was incredibly delicious and perfectly balanced. Me and my group had about half of the things on the menu! 10/10!!!!

Not sure how far one must travel from La Copine to find its equal, but it’s a ways. Even the foodies down in Palm Springs know to flock to this desert oasis. It’s that good. Rockfish cakes, gnocchi, shrimp roll, Parmesan grits, espresso panna cotta and on and on. Extraordinary selections, preparation and presentations. Thanks to the LaC team for making the drive worthwhile. So satisfying, so happy.

What an intriguing place. Warmed my once vegetarian heart and satisfied my revived carnivore. Innovative dishes to satisfy all culinary and dietary imperatives. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and country-diner atmosphere will undoubtedly bring us back.

Cleanest bathroom I have ever seen is a public house! The decor was lacking, but the walls and floors were spotless! The flavor of the food was spot on ,but the popcorn shrimp in the sandwich not as wonderful, a smaller amount of a better grade of shrimp would have been better? The polenta cake genius! Then there's the mountain view amazing!!!!

Amazing seasonal menu every time! The options are very diverse and well thought out. You will want to order multiple things. Go for it! None will miss. Walk ups are welcome, but no guarantees. Text for reservations ahead of time.

We have brunch and everything was unique, fresh and tasty. We loved the fried chicken- light fry with perfect slaw and the shrimp roll. The lemon polenta cake was also just the right amount of sweet to end a meal. Make a reservation if you want to sit inside!
