I really enjoyed eating here, it has a very local down low feel. The coffee's great and the home fries are made with love!
Just the perfect little pit stop on the side of the road- super cute and authentic
One of my favorites. Family atmosphere and with that home cook taste, can get a little crowded but endless people willing to wait for a table is proof in Itself. It's worth the wait.
Awesome! Best and authentic food if you are looking for that type of food. Lovely people running the place. Food, quantity, price perfectly fine .
i ordered the chicken fried steak for the first time here at C & S Coffee Shop. It was not my cup of tea, and I threw up 3 times in a row trying to finish this gruesome meal. Nobody came over to help me during this horrendous and humiliating moment. I find it disrespectful as a woman from Lebanon who is just now spending her first few months in America in Yucca Valley. It is concerning how these people act towards each other. I felt that someone should have a little decency towards me and be respectful which would be helping me awhile I am throwing up multiple times in this restaurant.
Chorizo omelette was awesome and the homemade salsa great
Food and service is good—a solid diner experience. But I don’t like that they screw over their employees by accepting payment on credit cards but not allowing tips on a card. Either accept only cash (and be clear and upfront about it) or allow customers to tip on a CC.
Love this place. Always good food and service. Good old fashioned diner
Breakfast was great! Friendly fast service. Outdoor seating is doggie friendly
Great breakfast, good price, amazing service. Quick stop on the way to Joshua Tree NP. Make sure you have some cash for a tip, as they don’t accept tips on the credit card. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. Chicken fried steak was good too. Biscuit was very fresh and soft.
Mine and my husbands first time trying this local Cafe, and it did not disappoint! Husband had the corned beef hash, eggs, hashbrowns and biscuit with gravy. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, eggs and home fries. Eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, with runny yolk and solid white. 👌 The home fries had great flavor with the fresh onions and bell peppers, and the CFS was the best I've ever eaten. Light and crispy breading over juicy flavorful chicken you could cut with a fork. The hash was delicious and the biscuit and gravy was soft, fluffy and filled with flavor. The hasbrowns needed to be crispier. Coffee could be a tad stronger, but they offer a multitude of flavored creamers, so it makes up for slightly weak coffee. Price was average to other breakfast places, though you need to either bring cash, or have a cash app to tip. They don't accept tips on credit/debit card purchases. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!!
The people who work there couldn't have been nicer and the service was exceptional can't wait to go back
The best breakfast in Yucca Valley! Friendly service and calm atmosphere. Perfect way to start your day.
The best restaurant in Yucca Valley!!!! We all had an outstanding breakfast, which we agreed, should be rated way higher than 5 stars! -Family & wedding guests from Iowa
Mandatory stop for food pre or post JT visit. Loved the homely vibe and the staff were so welcoming.
Great spot, great food, good prices. Be sure to try the homemade salsa.
Biscuits were hard and hash browns were like mashed potatoes. This happened twice. A few months ago it was better
C & S is an old time favorite in Yucca Valley, CA. Always good country food.
Food is delicious and there usually isn't too long of a wait. Staff is very friendly.
