Great wake up jolt !
Wooooo we love it so much! This is our favorite local coffee joint - the toasts are epic, the almond butter toast is the bomb! Great hangout spot to if catching up on emails or with a friend.

Great coffee and really nice people. Always a warm welcome and I love the bit of Snow board history decorating the walls .. if in truckee take a look at the classic Kidwell on the wall Terry kidwell was the Man and it’s great to see one of his boards on the wall . Ohh yeah and Coffee Love the party wave blend . With some toast and jam

Our first visit to DCDS was great. My husband ordered the Pray for Snow Peppermint Latte (seasonal) and I ordered a decaf latte with Laird’s superfood MCT. We both really enjoyed our beverages! The service was also great: friendly, professional and quick! One of the baristas helped me customize my drink based on what I wanted, which was really cool 😊 I enjoyed the experience so much, we stopped by for a second visit before leaving town to get snacks for the road: a chocolate protein smoothie and a gluten-free chocolate chip banana muffin. They were so delish 😋 If we are in the area, we would love to visit again! ❤️
That homemade lavender syrup hits different! Try their lattes with some oatmilk and housemade syrup for a delicious twist, even when short staffed their service is amazing and their drinks are delicious! Beautiful building with lots to look at, tried getting a shot of the stained glass window, but alas, the sun was shining directly though. Stopped by on my way back from Muir woods, and they'll be my go-to coffee stop in Truckee from now on! Thank you guys- you make a delicious difference in so many lives! Keep up the amazing!
Vibey place to visit especially in the winter time. Got the Chai Latte and it was very good! The chai was very light yet very pronounced. I would definitely come back again!

Coffee was good— but I got the purple haze, which just tasted like a typical iced coffee no lavender flavor whatsoever We also got the berry smoothie— not the best. Tasted more like beets than anything The avo toast was disappointing, not fresh avocado. I think it’s pre-made packaged guac from Costco which tastes like preservatives and for $9 is not worth the money. Sorry I like to post positive reviews but I hope this shop owner can make some small changes to make thing better because we love a good coffee stop when staying in Truckee!
Went to a few coffee shops in town and this one was the best. The food and atmosphere are great.

Easily the best coffee place we visited during our 3 day trip to donner lake. Very very very friendly staff. We ordered their avocado toast and the toast of the day which was the caprese toast. The caprese toast took our breath away. It was the best! We also ordered a cappuccino and a Gibraltar. Both of them were amazing. Definitely returning here for more of their coffee and the perfect caprese toast
Had the best orange juice, latte, waffle & avocado toast! Everything was delicious and service was great!!
