Roasters always make the best coffee! Dark horse didn’t disappoint today, fantastic smooth coffee, plus a quaint location in Truckee, walk around and check out the old buildings.
If you’re looking for a coffee break, definitely come to this place! Coffee is delicious, then people are nice, and the atmosphere is perfectly chill. They were also nice enough to let my dog come in. Highly recommend!

Excellent! The perfect creamy froth on a delicous coffee. Didn't need to add sugar and the place is super cute! Barista was very nice and pleasant to speak to.

Super cozy, excellent coffee
Fun coffee shop tucked away. Lots of fun decor and cozy vibes. There is a good amount of seating while still feeling spacious. Seats can fill up quick though! Ordered a chai oat milk latte and it was delicious (a bit sweet but that's usual for chai). They have a drawing of a weevil so how can you go wrong.
Street parking available. Payment machine accepts credit cards. Shop has cozy vibes with sitting nooks for hanging out. Staff was great and talked about the history of the shop since we are from San Diego and have been to the North Park location.
