Quaint little restaurant serving good food. The dutch apple pie (pictured) was to die for. Our waitress was attentive, and kind.
This place is dirty and gross, after seeing the back kitchen and how dirty it was I was grossed out. After we ordered and waited we noticed that the person placing all the Silverware was grabbing everything by the front and not the handle. The Waitress drops the fries and with her hand pickup them up and put them back on the plate. Very very gross Especially how dirty everything is at this place. First and last time we would ever eat at the restaurant

I unfortunately was only here for a cup of coffee and a table, but the staff was amazing and very helpful! Makes me want to come back for more...

Excellent food including the ham steak and the biscuits and gravy. One of the only restaurants I know that gives you plenty of gravy. The staff was very friendly.
This is a great little breakfast and lunch spot in the heart of Truckee, CA. You can tell it's been around for a long time, which adds to the charm. The portions were huge and very tasty. We were very pleased with our meals.
The hot dog was not even cooked 💀. I also saw them touching bread without gloves. 😂
I did not want to have a big order for lunch , share my lunch with my sister in law a combo 2 taco fish . The waiter was so nice that she separated the order in 2 individual mini combo . What a great service that we were not expecting . The rest of our group added the combo soup of the day - clam chowder and salad
The best breakfast and lunch restaurant in truckee and near lake tahoe. I had the best corn beef hash, pancakes and eggs meal ever. Staff very friendly and prices very reasonable. Eat inside or outside.

We stopped in as they were closing, and we were welcomed right in! Food was delicious, my iced coffee was the best ive ever had! The older lady who waited on us was simply amazing! Thank you & we will be back next time we pass through
I would hire anyone of these employees, they have a knack for having you to want to return.(it helps that the food was outstanding and hot when served)!
This was the worst food at a restaurant I’ve had since I can remember. Nothing we couldn’t have cooked a lot better at home. Nothing was even remotely seasoned — totally bland. Our “vanilla” lattes tasted like steamed milk. My “over medium” eggs were barely cooked. My corned beef and hash was totally greasy and undercooked. Terrible all around experience. Okay wont be back. Not worth the price whatsoever.
Awesome people! The food was literally perfect! I asked for a somewhat modified burger and they delivered it exactly as I asked. Would go here again ❤️
I have been here several times by myself and with my spouse, and brought my well behaved children this time. Usually the service is prompt and friendly and the food is good. This time the service was -far- below average. We did not feel valued or respected. We did not get one of the items we ordered until I politely ordered it a second, and then finally a third time. It should not take 45 minutes to make 2 eggs. I will probably try somewhere else next time.
Eggs, bacon, and potatoes, plus a biscuit and gravy for a "bread". Nice option!
The food was good, but when ordering things they made a mistake in the order and forgot a part of the order.
