I stumbled across this shop on a weekend vacation and I had to come back TWICE it was so good. The first day I had a lavender chamomile latte! Absolutely to die for. The baristas were so kind and friendly, they really made my day. If you work at Kraken Coffee Co in Pismo Beach and you have purple hair or dreadlocks with glasses, treat yourself today because you truly made me smile! I left with a Nitro lemonade with the lavender syrup mixed in and it was absolutely delicious. They were able to recommend the perfect combinations to me to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted! The second morning I got a brevé Gibraltar (which are called cortados where I'm from, so I was super excited to learn something new). Oh my goodness I was in heaven. The half and half was steamed to perfection and the espresso was so tasty. I also got an iced dirty chai with oat milk, and I was happy to hear it was from a local vendor! It was so yummy with a delicious dust of cinammon on top. All this paired with the open wall to the beach, the beautiful branding, and the cozy yet open atmosphere made me feel the most relaxed I've been in months. If I'm ever in the area again, this will definitely be my first stop! Thank you so much for two wonderful mornings 💖
The staff who helped me was very friendly and helpful to helped me customize my drink; also, he even asked me about a game I’m looking forward to! The outdoor seat was limited, but awesome if you get one to view the ocean from afar. The atmosphere inside was nice, too.
It's my favorite place for a delicious morning break at the end of Pismo Beach Pier. Beautiful views and great Baristas! My Oatmilk Latte always has milk art! Thank you Parker, Carlie, Joe, and Amber!

The chai tea is so smooth and yummy and the top it off with a little bit of sweetness made it so very tasty.
Oh my goodness. Was that sour, burnt fluid even coffee?!?! And was that even cream, or something milked from the Kraken itself???

Laid-back atmosphere and current style, the art of coffee is respected. My latte was smooth and delicious.Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!
Who unleashed the Kraken? Their espresso drinks are outstanding, personally really prefer a breve capital here. They do not roast their own beans but the coffee is quite high end. Also great friendly service!
Good coffee with sea view point. Coffee is so delicious. Taste is good. I recommend cappuccino. Let try.
Needed my caffeine for the day. Was much more than caffeine/coffee first thing in the morning. I truly enjoyed the rich aroma, flavor and boldness. I purchased some whole beans for home.
Great location with a spectacular ocean view across from the pier. Hearty breakfast burrito filled with scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon. (Vegetarian option) They offer an array of coffee choices with seating options, inside and out.
Such a great find for a really excellent coffee, made even better by how lovely the staff were who went out of their way to help us out with a caffeine emergency on a chilly morning. If you like delicious coffee and nice people then this is your place!

My husband had a coffee he said it was very good quality and flavor. I Had a matcha latte and a bacon and date scone. The matcha was very good, but the bacon date scone was to die for. It was a soft crunch outside and buttery soft inside. hella hella good. I would post a picture, but after the first bite I lost my manners and inhaled it.
