We went an hour before they closed (so 10am) and they only really had 2 or 3 flavors left. Aside from lack of selection- the donuts were really good. They are fluffy / airy with the right amount of chew. Toppings and Flavors were great as well. I got chocolate cheesecake, and my husband tried coconut custard. I wish we could have tried more than that, but that just means we'll have to go back. We took ours to go because seating area was packed. Parking lot outside with free marked customer spots.
This was a fun stop to get donuts. We were disappointed that the kitchen was closed as there were some in our group that would have preferred breakfast sandwiches. The service was just lovely, and the coffee and donuts were delicious. The four star is just due to the kitchen being closed.
Need to warn you. Once you try Surfside, *nothing* will ever compare. No donut, local or far, can hold a candle to the freshness, the incredible icing, the amazing flavor combos. I don’t even like Matcha flavoring but their matcha donuts have me in a chokehold. Everything is more than delicious. Even my own kid says, “Nothing is better than Carrie’s donuts!” 10000/10. Will eat for the rest of my life. Cremate me and a donut and scatter my ashes over the Pismo beach so I can continue eating donuts in this life and the next
What a wonderful selection! I am NOT a donut eater ( I know… how can anyone hit like donuts) but everyone I love likes …ok, loves them! Soooo … here I am.
Best donuts ever. If you are in Pismo you have to try them out.
THE BEST DOUGHNUTS ON THE CENTRAL COAST! Fun & Creative flavors w/great service! It’s worth the 20min drive & a beach view! It’ll be your “GO TO SPOT”, for sure! Keep it up!
Hands down the best donut & fritter I’ve ever had 🙌🏼 will definitely be going back before my vacation wraps up! (See pic for blueberry fritter, view not included 🙃)

Pismo is known for so many things but donuts is not one of them and that is a shame! This little shop should be a definite stop if you are in the area! The gluten free donuts are to die for! The shop also features original art from local artists that just adds to the ambiance!
Really really love this place! The staff us always super friendly, and the donuts are always fresh, delicious, & often very unique flavors. Highly recommended, but get there early, as they often sell out!

Just like the reviews say, these donuts are fantastic. I heard my sister-in-law say hers was the best donut she's ever had. And she's 60 years old! They have chocolate covered old fashioned donuts, which are usually difficult to find. Excellent! The workers were very friendly and helpful too. If we lived here (we're visiting from Colorado), we'd be going there all the time!

Best donut shop I’ve been to in a while! Chocolate ganache was wonderfully rich, donut holes were light and fluffy. The Fritter Bites were to die for! Friendly staff, great price, and yes I ate them all.
What can I say, THE best place for donuts. Do not, I repeat. Do not miss this wee gem of a place!
Obviously donuts are great, but they change up the variety everyday! I go every morning when on vacation here
Great donut shop. This is my Wife's personal favorite because she loves the sea salt one and the maple and bacon one. Their blueberry fritter balls are definitely a must have! They have some cool and unique flavors so it's always fun to hit them up. Good latte coffees also. The atmosphere is beachy and chill, crew are also nice and helpful.
