Located right in middle of El Paseo shopping strip. Great seating both indoor and out. Wonderful staff, yummy Italian food, large selection of wines both from CA and Italy. Highly recommend 👌
The pizza in this place is out of this world. Must try!
Excellent pasta dish, the steaks were just ok, and the service was fantastic. We’ll be back for more pasta and the Cesar.
Great Pizza, belly up to the bar enjoy a drink, and the possibly the best pizza in town!
Great place desserts are incredible.
Accidentally found this place, outstanding customer service, vibe and food from the moment we walked in. Had bar menu Osso Buco it was perfect and a large portion for a bar menu item.
Food was excellent but a they are a bit shorthand for servers.
Great for lunch and dinner. Lunch hours are typically quieter on weekdays vs weekends. The food is reasonably priced, service is kind and courteous and it’s right on El Paseo. I highly recommend it! The Cod, meatballs and Ossobuco are just some of their delicious meals.
The food was wonderful, particularly the chicken marsala! We'll definitely be back! Thank you!
One of may fav’s. Never disappoints. My top choices Cacio e pepe, carpaccio, grilled calamari, meatballs, stripped bass filet and a perfect tiramisu to share… 4 spoons!!! Terrific wine selection… and If you are Canadian… beware the 4 ounce martini… welcome to America! ;)
Ill Corso was a disappointment this evening. Although we spent $250+ pm dinner, the waiter was totally disengaged and unhelpful. Our food was just OK. And the wine list, nothing special. The restaurant was recommended by friends we trust — so it was likely just a night that they were off their game.
Light lunch very yummy. Lovely
Food was amazing. I tried the Linguine Vongole and I loved it. Definitely will come back to try other dishes.
First - I sent these comments directly to the restaurant the next day to give them an opportunity to respond but they did not reply. Second - I have eaten at this restaurant many times in the past (at both locations) for special occasions and otherwise both with and without kids. This review is for the El Paseo location. Third - My experience that I relayed to Il Corso was as follows: "I am not usually too fussed about the odd hiccup when I am out for dinner, but last night was so disappointing that I had to send a note. We made reservations 3 weeks prior for our party of 6. Reservations were for 5:30pm. The Hostess couldn’t find it, accused us of changing to 5:00pm, and we were “lucky” that the restaurant could still accommodate us. “Us” included parents in their ‘80’s and young children. We were finally seated and ordered cocktails. Our server came with the drinks and spilled part of a martini on both my father and my 2 year old daughter. The server neither apologized nor attempted to assist either of them with the mess (or bring a new drink). We ordered our food (including three different specials) and simple pizzas for the kids. Our server assured us that the kids’ pizza would be in right away. 45 minutes later and the adults’ food arrived with no pizza. Our server checked in with the table only once after the dinner arrived. My father ordered the Dover Sole special and noted all of the bones in the fish that he had piled up to the side. Once again, our server was unapologetic and offered no assistance. We received the check and, to add insult to injury, the Dover Sole special was 63% higher than the most expensive fish on the regular menu. Obviously, we can afford to eat out and the money isn’t the issue, but with such a price difference it again might have been the right thing for the server to mention. All in all, a disappointing dinner."
Overall it was a good place to eat. My only suggestion is that someone was smoking near by and the smell of the cigarette ruined my dinner. However, the food was average and the portion really small for a $40 dollar plate, I wish it was at least an once bigger. Probably, if you are not that hungry and you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money for 3 once of salmon then, that is the place to go.
The seafood Salad is pretty good Latte is no good , it was cold , after they replaced , is just ok for Restaurant standard The Lobster Spaghetti was good , tasty . Cod fish was cooked perfect .
The staff was incredible and kind. The service was fast. The food was good, not incredible, but good. Well priced, but your portions may be smaller than you anticipate. Overall, great time, excited to go back.
A fantastic experience. Had great wine and appetizers. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Absolutely recommend il Corso, was really fun!
Il Corso is and will be a standout dining experience in the El Paseo collection. The building and ambiance is excellent and the food is a notch above what the desert has to offer. The menu has been paired back from years past but they offer a differentiated assortment of dishes. The dishes are not your traditional spaghetti and meatballs but more regional Italian with meats, seafoods, and pastas. Think of a more elevated Italian cuisine. I think the wine list is rather weak but they have plenty of Italian option. Overall it’s a great place to have a special evening or celebration.
Great Vibes, fun place to go for a dinner! We had a large group and service was great! Gluten free pasta wasn’t the best but other food tasted great! Caesar salad came with 4 anchovies and it was extra anchovies:) Portions were good sized, not big, I would say Canadian size. We enjoyed our dinner and had a great time. Will be back to try other food
