Beautiful place!! Reminds me of trips in the Middle East!!! Cafe, bakery, market, ice cream, plus breakfast and lunch too!!! There's something for everyone! All graciously handmade right there with wonderful friendly service, prices are average but portions are large (I only at least havelllf if my shawarma plate for lunch - the other half for dinner!), with plenty traditional menu items and some standard muffins, pastries too. If you haven't been yet - you should go!!
A fun and lovely family owned cafe! We ordered a little bit of everything and very much enjoyed going back and forth between savory and sweet. The Turkish coffee service is very special, and we were greeted by the smiling and thoughtful family who took care of us and made great suggestions. This cafe brought smiles to all who came inside, and I’m very excited to have The Golden Date in our town. They’ll see us again for sure ☺️
When the operator shows up 2 minutes before opening you already know its not going to be good. Already wrapped bakery items tells me they might be day old? We were really hoping for something different unfortunately we found more of the same.
In love with the coffee and original food. Hidden gem for sure 💙💎 I’m so happy I was able to experience this cafe. The cafe was real cute, presentation of food and taste is well done. I couldn’t chose what to order for lunch or dessert. They’re sweets are so tempting. ALL they’re savory food sound and looked good on the menu. Thank you for the kind and good service 💙☕️
Nice establishment with friendly people. The tea and baklava are tasty. Breakfast however felt a little bland and small in quantity. It is one of the few halal spots in Palm Springs though so that is nice for those that eat halal meat.
Food was store bought not even made fresh Expensive and disgusting, Owners disrespecting my ethnicity on how disgusting and trash his food was.
This place is wonderful. Very cute set up, wide selection of dates and sweets, great savory dishes, and all of the staff are extremely nice. Plus, best date shake in the area by far!
Date shake was super good.. And the customer service is outstanding. We were late but the owner went over his head to prepare the shakes! Thanks a bunch!
Great family owned cafe! We had arrived 19 min after the closure but the owners were extremely nice and had done the shakes in no time😊 What make it even better they had done one extra date shake which was so delicious that our friends returned for it the next day! Thank you 🙏 and we will be back soon! Highly recommended place!

I just went it for my time. First impression the cashier was very friendly and answered all my questions and the location was beautiful. They had a beautiful wall with a violin in the middle but someone was sitting there when I walk in so I couldn’t take a picture I was there briefly since I had to get back to work I got a hazelnut latte and a few macaroons. Everything was great. Can’t wait to go back and try the Turkish coffee and desserts! Omgg the coffee was perfection!
I went there on Saturday with my friends on my birthday and Adil ( owner ) took care of us very well and we were all super satisfied with the service. His service was the best experience I’ve had so far! Food & drinks were on point, I’d go back there forsure!
Sweet and authentic place. The owner and his wife are artists and all paintings on the walls made by them. We had there breakfast with my friend food and service are great! Definitely recommended!
What an amazing find! I dropped #ParrotThePoodle for his grooming and noticed this very inviting Cafe. I ordered the #Turkish coffee which was just what I needed to start my day. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich which nested an egg into the bread. I finished my coffee with baklava. They will have their grand opening soon and I know this Instagram- worthy place will be a great welcome to the community.

This adorable floral oasis in a small strip was the perfect pick up we needed. We were searching for a date shake, but I was super excited to have some Turkish and middle eastern desserts as well. It's been a while since I've had such fresh and flavorful pistachio baklava of varying styles. Every one was outstanding. Tasted like my childhood! The cardamom tea was a perfect end. The owner was so kind and made us feel like old friends. Thank you for the great experience! Ps the date shake was a triple thumbs up from all of us!
