Walked into an empty store. Two teenage girls acted as such with monotone greeting and lazy eyes. They turned to make our drinks with frowns on their face. Ordered to-go and left with them saying a sarcastic “thanks, have a good day.” The tea was as good as their attitude. Dried fruit had gone bad and both drinks were thrown away after a few sips. I got the Fantasy Garden. The other drink (taro milk tea) was just plain milk and little flavor.
Normally they’re okay but today’s service sucked. My friend and I went and ordered two drinks. About 5-6 people ordered after us and got theirs before us. The cashier saw me not tip and “forgot” to make our drinks. My friend and I sat there for almost 15 minutes and when the girl was asked if she made our drinks, she looked at me and said no. So don’t tip if you don’t want your drinks made in the order they were actually ordered. At least the drinks taste good.
this place literally has the worst boba. typically it’s either hard, not fresh, or they’re simply out. the only thing worth getting here is the piña colada to be honest with you, and yet they run out of ingredients. save yourself time from going to this place if you want good boba.
Food poisoning: Went here this past week, ordered a tiger milk tea. Seemed fine at first, and after I had about 1/3 of it, I noticed small white dots forming throughout the drink. Basically, there was bad milk, and it was mixed in well enough to where I couldn’t tell at first. By the time I noticed, it was too late, and I got food poisoning.

Come here pretty regularly because in the area there are no many boba choices. Forgot to take photos. I got my preferred drink-jasmine milk tea half sweet with boba and Crystal boba. They were super generous with the toppings. There is only one drink size. Pricey is similar to most places. $6-8 depending on how many toppings. They weren’t busy in a Friday evening after dinner. Drinks were ready super fast.
I've been going to Tzone since around it first opened, I love the Boba, but for some reason lately I've noticed that the fresh lemon tea is more sour now, I tried talking to one of the people behind the counter, but she said that nothing had changed, maybe I'm just going crazy but I'm confused. (I went here with a friend a while ago and she agreed)
Being from out of state, the drinks remind me of home. This is by far my favorite Boba place I've found in the Monterey area.
Whenever I come to Monterey I always love to come here! Their drinks are amazing! I recommend the pina colada!

Thai Tea with boba tasted disgusting. I didn't even finish my drink. I just threw it away after taking a sip. Another place that Americanizes Asian drinks.
The employees in there were so loud and annoying for no reason, and they started blasting music 20 mins before the store closed, probably to get us to leave? Just seems very unprofessional, and overall bad customer treatment.
This place is horrible. When I received my drink, they put 300 alive fish in it! Then out of nowhere godzilla came bursting through the building and stole my drink! After that world war 7 started in the building and there were a bunch of seals driving spoons and started shooting atomic missiles! My best friend was there with me and died. Worst customer service ever! 😡
They do not let you to use the restrooms. If they offer the service they should let you use the restrooms.
Rude + no boba when I payed for double. Drinks are good but not service. Had to pay again to get boba added so total of $25 for 3 drinks on two transactions. Keep in mind a drink with no boba is $4.95. Besides Taxes, where did the extra $10 go? My bank ended up giving me my money back.
The drinks aren’t good at all. Had both milk tea and smoothie options and it was disappointing. Out of many toppings and did not have all their drinks in stock.
This used to be our go to place for Boba. Unfortunately 50% of the time we go they are out of boba pearls. The inside of the store looks terrible, I understand they altered things for COVID but at this point it should not look this bad still. The drink quality is either too strong or too weak, no consistency. It's gone down hill in the last year.
Found Sharp Plastic Bits! On both of our normal and boba drinks. Please check your equipments. This is scary. the staff members were understanding and said would look into this. hopefully this gets fixed, and is just a one time thing
This is one of my favorite ways to treat myself! 🧋 I have celiac disease (which, on a practical level, is kind of like having a severe gluten allergy) and I’ve been assured many times that this place is safe for me, and that they don’t even have any gluten-containing ingredients in their store. My favorites are the STRAWBERRY MADNESS green tea (light caffeine) and the TARO MILK tea (no caffeine). Don’t forget the honey boba! So good. Sometimes they run out of honey boba though, so check with them as you order to make sure they still have it in stock. Or be sure to come earlier in the day.
