Delicious Turkish coffee and scrumptious delights! Take a small break from the Canerey Row crowds and enjoy this quiet and beautiful spot for a break. Coffee for the adults and a couple dozen delights to select from for the kids (or just young at heart!)

Went here for the Turkish coffee and got a few treats. I accidentally spilled the coffee on the floor and my hand but was taken excellent care of with quick action of ice by the staff. Truly exceptional service and delicious treats. 11/10

Delicious Baklavas and other treats. Great little spot to sit and have a treat. The person at the counter answered all our questions and then some. No public restroom.

When I was a boy, I lived in Turkey for half a year when my dad was stationed there. I will always remember the baklava. In the over 40 years since, this place has the best baklava I've had outside of Turkey. They also have a variety of tasty items which they are very willing to let you sample. Family owned and operated by the nicest people; I felt good spending my money here. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area. If you are not in the area don't despair, they will ship inside the USA.

It was not crunchy but soggy. It was expensive for the price. Not recommended and can't return. Waste of money.

The entire staff was lovely. I was in visiting a Monterey on a solo trip and just ordered a Turkish coffee and baklava, and they ended up giving me complimentary Turkish delights with my purchase even following the ones they had already given me as samples. As I was sitting there for a bit reading my book, a girl approached me again to give me more Turkish delights for free. In short: they were absolutely lovely and I couldn’t recommend stopping at this place enough! The pistachio pomegranate marshmallow one is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. And the coffee and baklava is to die for. Not to mention the atmosphere is stunning. but of course, the standout was the customer service. They give you every reason to return.

I've been coming here since the first month it opened years ago. Being in SF, that means I only swing by if I'm in the area, however, I ALWAYS stop by if I'm in the area. The coffee is strong and delicious, served in the small ornate kahve fincani, along with a small glass of water to help your palette. The Turkish delight and baklava are lightly sweet and varied in their richness and textures. The displays are colorful and appetizing, and the pieces being sold by weight are worth the price, even if it feels a little high (I've yet to find a Turkish confectionary that serves the sweets this fresh). The first time we visited, the gentleman was so gracious to us being there (we were the only ones on a random Tuesday) that my boyfriend and I agreed: when in Monterey, we have to get Turkish delight and coffee. My favorite flavors of traditional delight are rose water, pistachio and orange. If you're going for the log shaped ones, I would highly suggest the pistachio hazelnut. The gentlemen behind the counter are happy to let you try, and their samples are generous considering the richness of their goods! I personally think the more traditional flavors are nicer, but be adventurous! You'll be surprised what flavor combinations really work. A box of one of every flavor delight plus some other pieces set me back about $26, which, for a confection I cannot find often, is quite a good deal with how soft and chewy they still are, fresh from Turkiye as well! I consider this fair for a high-tourism spot and do not mind braving the throngs of tourists to come here. The service is also warm and top notch. They immediately provided wet wipes when they saw my 7 year old smearing chocolate on herself from her serving and checked in with my party often. They informed me they now ship their goods as well, so I will be sure to order from them more often!

Yum yum yum YUM!! So glad I saw this place. I have been craving Turkish desserts without ever having them for a while! I had a couple samples and ended up with brownie hazelnut, lemon hazelnut, chocolate pistachio and walnut honey. All delicious! I ended up going back before heading home for more! Didn't get enough.... haha wish they were closer to me but also glad they aren't.

This place is a must stop on Cannery Row. The baklava and Turkish delights are absolutely delicious. I've always loved baklava, especially pistachio, and this place did not disappoint. They have a variety of flavors. Their Turkish delights, something I've had quite a few times but am usually not a big fan, are also awesome. They have quite a few flavor combinations that I've never had before and loved. The pomegranate and pistachio was especially good.

This coffee is espresso on steroids there’s a lot of caffeine and rich and flavor pack in this little 3 ounce cup. This could keep you awake for days along with your seven dollar cup super espresso Mr. Krista light. I just don’t know what it’s called. It’s thick and cheesy and really pretty tasty. If you’re into experiencing different things, give this place a try.

Delicious confections and wonderfully friendly staff. If you go in with the thought of spending very little money be warned you will want to buy up everything you try!

Delicious! Lots of very potent flavors; nuts or no nuts, fruity, floral, chocolate, lots of choices and all of them very high quality.
