Best breakfast I had this week Sam, the new waitress was amazing. She was warm, professional and helpful with our crisis of a flat tire (long story). I highly recommend this place and would give a thumb up for Sam!
I was looking for a cool brunch spot, this seemed like it would be a good place. The drinks and service was amazing. The food slightly less so. If you like a chai latte or a good coffee would definitely recommend a visit. I took pancakes and poached eggs and was a little disappointed. The pancakes were cooked a little too long.
Cute, family friendly and homely cafe. Kind and hospitable chef/owner and staff all around. Well portioned and delicious plates with organic ingredients! Highly recommend.

We loved this place so much, we ate here 4 days in a row on our 5 day visit! Being vegan and finding vegan options can be tough, but we had no issues here. The homemade bread is to die for- and the bowl of Latte was a fun surprise. Great staff, lovely owner, amazing food, and atmosphere. I just wish I lived closer! Definitely on my "will always go back" list.
Took 10-15 min just for someone to look at us and ask if we’ve been helped. Once we ordered it took another 25-30 min to get a single chimichurri burrito. And they gave me the completely wrong burrito. Don’t try to get to go orders from here. They will completely ignore you unless you stand there for 10-15 min.
They have vegan options!! The vegan chimichurri burrito was absolutely amazing!! So fresh and full of flavor! Oat milk matcha was one of the best ones I've ever had. This is going to be a regular stop for me when I visit.
While visiting Monterey Bay I saw this nice cafe. My wife loved this restaurant. We signed in and the wait wasn’t too bad as it was a busy Easter Sunday. The food and service was good and the portions were a very nice size. This was one of my favorites while visiting the city. Try it out!!! You will not be disappointed.
Coffee was abysmal and service was very not nice. My friend was condescendingly spoken to when asking the lady at the register to repeat herself (she was whispering).
Got there right at opening on a Saturday. Tried the continental breakfast which consisted of fruit, a pastry, orange juice, coffee or hot chocolate. I also asked for a half side of sausage. They didn’t have any pastries that really appealed to me so I tried the apple coffee cake (for the cake not the apple). When the bill arrived I saw I was charged for the full side of sausage. Just an eh experience.
Everything is delicious but we had French toast with berries and house made syrup that were the absolute best we had EVER had anywhere!
Fantastic breakfast! The gluten free pancakes were so delicious! The staff was so friendly and attentive! The best hot chocolate and chai latte, served in this big fantastic mug! Definitely recommend!
Been here twice and my wife has been here more often but we were really disappointed on today's service. I'm not sure if our server left or was on break but once our food got to our table we never saw her again. The food was good but my wife ordered the veggie sandwich and added goat cheese but got no goat cheese. I got the half and half which I think is a joke. Your options is 2 salads and it excludes 3 sandwiches and it was only a dollar less than my wife's full sandwich and it came with a salad.
Delicious food with nicely seasoned menu options - not just standard omelets, eggs pancakes. Bread baked there, super yum. Good coffee. Good service. Small space with just a few tables outside on sidewalk.
I was excited to find a place that had fresh baked scones and ordered some a day in advance. She told me what time they opened and my husband drove over there half an hour after opening. They were not available and was asked to come back an hour later, husband drove back an hour later, and was told to wait 20 minutes, this was very disrespectful of his time. When he asked for his money back the owner was surprised that after driving there twice he was not willing to wait another 20 minutes. With the price of gas, driving there twice, ending up with nothing and wasting so much time on a Sunday morning, I doubt we’ll give this café a second try.
I do not give 5 stars everywhere! I hesitated to review this because, we have found OUR secret spot. However, this place is amazing and I had to stop being selfish and share. We have been here twice and due to our schedule we were able to eat breakfast and lunch. We love it. We have met the sweet owner and many of the staff that have been there for quite awhile. Yes, we are now loyal locals. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I would like to thank Martin for his wonderful customer service and his help in finding cool places to visit! It was my first time in Monterey and the food was delicious and his service was great! Props to him. I wish more employees were just like him! He was friendly and helpful! I hope the owner sees this. He deserves a raise! I really don't think the vibe there would be the same without him. Thanks again Martin! 😁👍
Great food! Servers were nice.. but they definitely need more staff to to help out they seemed all very overwhelmed
Nice little Café with a pleasant breakfast selection
Since coming here my first time in September 2022, I loved being there, the food is great, and the service is warm-hearted. Such a great time to be there by yourself or with some friends/colleagues. It is a small place so if you want to ensure you have a place inside since it's still a bit cold, get there a little early. If you don't mind the weather, then there are tables right outside.
